That's Classified! Military Classifies Fireball Data, Will Keep Meteor Views From Space Secret

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

For over 15 years scientists have used data gathered by U.S. satellites of natural fireball events in Earth’s atmosphere… but no more!.

The meteor that exploded over the Urals of central Russia was seen by Eumetsat’s Meteosat-9, at the edge of the satellite view. Hundreds of people were reportedly injured as the meteor’s massive sonic boom caused widespread damage.

A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released. DOES THIS NOT SHOCK YOU BEYOND WORDS? There is something big going on. I’m sorry. But explain that…

What a stupid idea, why would it be classified unless they are trying to hide things? That is what most people will think and the way they act I am becoming more inclined to think that way myself.

There is something going on. God is going on. The time is near for the 2nd coming of Christ. Hope everyone is ready.

Yes, the time is near for Christ’s return.

They want to hid God, but they cannot. They keep trying, though, don’t they?

I remember that this became classified around 2009. Not sure if it was a executive order or what, I do recall that it was Homeland Security measures. This sent up a red flag and I asked others what they thought of this, people just shrug as if not sure if its bad or good policy.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, fireball (bolide) data from military satellites has been classified since 2009, as someone has already pointed out. I wonder if it was the increase in the bolide/fireball counts since 2005 that caused the military to classify their data?

You see, there are amateur and professional groups that have been tracking bolide sightings for years now. Some have their data online. The American Meteor Society (AMS) is one and their online data has counts from the year 2005 up until today. Back then, there were only 1.20 events per day on average for that particular year. That number is also the average for previous years. However, the counts have been increasing steadily and significantly since that time. In 2012, for instance, the count had climbed to 6.08 events per day. Now, in 2013, with only 50 days of reporting time (Feb 19, 2013) the count is at 424 events. That’s 8.48 events per day!

So, is it any wonder that the military classified their reports since they were becoming too numerous and that might worry the public too much?
      :?:

      You be the judge.

indeed thank you …unfortunately their brainwashing has got the better of them

InLikeFlint is spot on… much more numerous. Seen huge one around 1987 but zero media coverage. Youtube search ”Bill coopers….Last prediction.mp4” for rep John Haller’s reading of a bill where evry other word is ”classified”. Madness.
