I believe this post is about fallen angels, but from the comments I’m not sure. Anyway, the scripture tells us that ‘all flesh was destroyed’ less eight and if your going to be a believer then strive to believe the Word. It is difficult as much understanding has been displaced over time. I struggle when filling in the gaps of my understanding, but when ‘filler information’ alters the Word then my faith says I must be wrong and the Word is right. None-the-less, I still error in learning, standing to be corrected and just hope to be a peace maker in the end.

Regardless, the reader may wish to stick closely to written scripture because the truth is in their more readily than out here. And do not let any man fool you, which includes myself, but search it out for your own. For some men’s words are stronger than other men’s minds. It is difficult, but let your mind hold to your faith whenever you read especially whenever your entering new territory. There are various other non scriptural yet historical writings about this event and if you follow the rules about 2 or 3 witnesses to establish the truth, then whatever edition of the Word you have will lead you to understand that there are other books outside the common versions. Both the prophets, the apostles, and Jesus quote, allude, and even mention by name other sources of information from which they establish the very faith that we are suppose to hold to. If you are not led by the Spirit of Truth to read, or unable to otherwise handle these other writings without sinning against your fellow servant, then abstain from them for your own sake. Yet, God does give differences in strength mind and faith to different men. Some can do it and some can not do it. That is why they would say, “those who have an ear”.
Now, I came here to post an idea because I see that this Gen. 6 information is developing into all sorts of strange and exotic hate. Not to say my idea is not strange and exotic, but it doesn’t promote hate. My idea is only an idea for those, who not unlike myself are trying to dig deep to lay their foundation. The Word of God and historically related writings imply that at least some of the angels are ‘stars’. Made of fire and spirit. Named the ‘grigori’, I think. Anyway, recent researchers have expounded upon the idea that God himself, or at least the angel representing Him, as viewed by Ezekiel, was formed from sorts of pure energy. We understand Mt Sinai seemed like a volcano while God, or the representing angel, set upon it.
We through our observations confirm stars to be of a high state of energy and of varying size. Enoch said, that they were light and could appear as men whenever they chose. Seemingly manipulating matter similar to Jesus. Beings of plasma energy, or whatever you want to call it, may not be a terribly far stretch for the mind. So, with this we can get a fundamental idea of a being of these heavenly host. We see videos of things similar to this idea flying around our sky even to this day. Merkabah I think may be the fitting word, not sure.
We understand from our faith that some stars, or angels, descended long ago to earth braking an accord. They were judged and imprisoned ‘in the earth’ after the destruction of their fleshly children. There are some ancient writings referring to the varying dilemmas of executing God’s judgement of the binding and confinement of these fallen angels where even one of the executioners was lost. This accordingly occurred before and after the flood. Regardless, certain interesting massive scars, we might call them caldera, still can be seen upon the dry earth. One can only imagine certain fiery beings being seized by one or more greater fiery beings and plunged into the earth at such depths that the one left behind can not burn its way back out. Hmm,I can almost see the movie now.
Anyway, let us go on. Of the 200 fallen (to earth) angels(seemingly not total of rebel angels) there must have been some stronger than others. Just as we can view larger and smaller stars in the face of heaven above us. Without trying to resolve the secrets of Lockheed Martins proposed fusion reactor let us now think upon the idea of long-term containment of such beings within the material earth. Understanding that only with keys from a descending angel can the pit be opened and such beings can arise relating that the prison must therefore be durable. The design of the prison would certainly be dynamic and not static in order to provide an enduring un-melted confinement to a being comprised of eternal fire. The placement of each of the perpetrators in the earth would need to create a molten tidal dynamic that not only rejuvenates the prison walls for each angel, but accents the lives of mankind that lives above these walls. Ah, and still the earth must endure man’s life too. Tricky engineering to make confinement for some of the more powerful fallen angels. Some confinement areas on the earth would therefore show more evidence of stress than others.
I am not a geologist, but a quick look into volcanic ‘hot-spots’ may provide some incite to an ever unfolding understanding.
