Video crater Kepler and Marius in darkness through telescope.
http://lupuvictor.blogspot.com Kepler (32 km), is a crater located on Mare Imbrium. This one has a ray system from the impact that created it, which spreads on a large lunar surface. These rays are intertwined with those of Aristarchus crater located far north of it. These rays are quite visible in these videos through the telescope.
Southeast of Kepler, 113 km far, is a crater that although similar size, don’t have a ray system and is less deep, called Enke (29 km). A comet and this crater are named after the German Astronomer, Johann Franz Encke.
The filmed area in general is devoid of other notable craters, given that there are large basins of lava that on which are scattered several small craters, and several regions with high peaks.
The crater on terminal (there is not the edge of the Moon), is Marius (41 km), , which to me is in a unique situation, because I have never seen it in such conditions, filled with darkness. Also, I didn’t know that it has an outer rim with a collar so high and so big.
