This area on the Moon in April, consists almost entirely of a lava basin, and here we see Oceanus Procellarum, where in center of the images, Aristarchus and Herodotus craters are located.
The images, which consist each of several thousand frames of a video were edited for contrast, brightness, to achieve greater clarity of albedo that permeates the area.
Aristarchus crater (40 km), is beautiful, particularly because of its brightness that reflect from the sun, and from which starts rays of a high albedo in all directions.
Besides this, there is a similar sized crater named Herodotus. This, compared with Aristarchus seems insignificant, but not when viewed in other lighting conditions, when the sun shines at a low angle.
