SUN Latest Activity Level: 1 CME, 2 M-Class and 17 C-Class Solar Flares in Past Two Days

Solar activity has been fairly low since the M1.5 flare yesterday morning. At least 12 low to mid level C-Class flares have been detected within the past 24 hours, almost all exclusively centered around sunspot 1861.
There will remain a chance for another moderate to strong solar flare around this region as it continues to rotate into an almost perfect geoeffective position.
The other flare threat, sunspot 1865 in the southeast quadrant remains stable. The source of a moderate to strong solar flare while still behind the east limb, old region 1853 is now beginning to rotate into view.
