Meteor Fireballs Increase Dramatically – Something Wicked This Way Comes

(Before It's News)

Joe Quinn, who writes for Sott.net on occasion, put together this video and described it like this:  “In case you haven’t noticed, over the past 10 years or so, our planet and its inhabitants have been experiencing a veritable ‘invasion’ of space rocks of all types. What does this mean for humanity?”

Essentially, this is the same hypothesis I hold – that the increase in meteor fireballs and bolides are cyclical. They are related to an influx of comet debris from the Oort Cloud and the regular perturbations of the cloud that causes this influx are related to a binary partner to our Sun that has gone unnoticed – until now.

What if the Earth’s 25,771 year axial precession cycle is not related to the wobble of the Earth on its axis but is related to the solar system moving around a common center of gravity with another Star?   What if that star passed close to our Oort Cloud of comets and stirred them up in the geologically recent past, and a whole storm of them are about to crash into the inner solar system?  In fact, the first vanguard of smaller comets could already be here and are breaking up and filling the inner solar system with debris that we are now seeing as an increased fireball flux:

If this has been going on since at least 2008 when the uptick became noticeable on the graph above, why did we not hear about this until now?  What is it about this data that obviously scares some people into not talking about it?

Is it because the Powers That Be (PTB) do not want us to know?  They tell us the comets are coming from someplace beyond the orbits of the planets but they are totally random in their behavior.  The Oort Cloud was theorized as the place they come from.  I agree with that theory.  But, it has to have something that kick starts the influx, in my opinion.

The Oort Cloud. Image by Wikipedia

They claim it is just random stuff and there is no pattern. But, there are patterns all over the place in the geologic record.  There are patterns in the climatic record.  We are finding out now that in the recent geologic past, a huge cooling event took place and it was probably caused by a comet impact.  Was that the last time the influx from the Oort Cloud was in progress?  All questions that as of yet, I do not have answers for.  But, I’m working on it.

In the meantime, here’s another video on precession and it gives you a better idea on exactly what physical processes are happening and why:

The precession of the equinox caused by our solar system being part of a binary star system has so much predictive power and answers questions about the ancient past that until now, we were totally unaware of.  Ancient societies apparently knew about this and their writings and monuments all contain evidence of it.  In fact, their main goal was to leave behind data that would indicate to future generations what this pattern was and how to calculate and track it.  Most of the ancient monuments that we’ve found are calendar and astronomical event tracking systems with an emphasis on the precessional cycle.  The ancients obviously considered it VITAL that we know this information.  Why?

There are lots of scientists who claim that the binary model of precession is poppycock and pseudo-science.  The guardians of the current paradigm do not want anyone to upset their applecart, so to speak.  They have a vested interest to keep the funding flowing for their brand of science.  They also keep everyone ignorant of the true realities of our existence.  This is by design.  The PTB have long since decided that only they can be privy to the secrets of the Universe since they are the masters of us all.  That’s how they keep their power.

It is time we shatter this illusion that the PTB have created for us and view the true reality that has been there all along.  Look behind the curtain, people!   The illusion only has so much time left before it is gone and the true reality sets in.  They won’t be able to hide it anymore once the comet impacts start happening.

  • I think twelve thousand year cycle fits right in with tha last Ice Age, and possibly the disappearance of Atlantis. It all fits.
    Great article. Very informative, thanks.

    • Thanks, Saber. I’m glad you liked it.

I actually wrote this on a whim in just a very short time early this morning. It could have been more polished and I could have put lots more information and graphics in it. Probably what I’ll do is a Part II continuance or something like that. I’m researching the cycle a bit more, but yes, a half-cycle of the full Great Year/precession cycle seems to have a fit in there somewhere. Hopefully, that can be pinned down better.

  • Hey Flint, this is much more reasonable reading. I like SOTT too! Maybe if you used some flashier meaningless buzzwords in your headline, you might get more traffic.

    • Yes, I did think of using flashier titles. Something like DD or SD would use, but I felt stooping to their level was degrading.

Joe Quinn’s title to this video was OK, but I thought reversing the order of the sentences would produce more hits, but I guess I was wrong.

I’m a big fan of SOTT and have been for years. In fact, the first info I read on this fireball issue was from SOTT. They deserve all the praise for rooting this out.

  • Howdy ya’ll; I suggest a 100,000 year cycle based on the Vostok Ice data and the possibility that this cycle has been repeated many times. And were the ancients attempting to leave a message as to the critical nature of this precession thing-a-me? What did they know that we don’t? Possibly everything.

How about the idea that four precessions fit neatly into one glacial cycle?

    • Now you’re over my head Mayhem.

      • … mine too  What i struggle with is meshing the fundamentalist belief with robust science. That belief being that this planet has existed, what, 6,000 years whereas quite credible science suggests we can see what the weather was like for the last 500 – 700 thousand years.

You know me to be a creationist, Debra, and i have no doubts that my duty is to be bondsman to Yahweh, to witness upon the Truth, to study the Life and follow the Way of Yehoshua for my Salvation. And i have great fear that i continue to be unworthy of Father’s blessing.

What i do have doubts about is my ability to recognise His calender. I know for certain none among us can claim to know it.

PS how often do i claim ‘Science’ amounting to much?

    • Wow, Mayhen. You might be on to something. It does fit and rather well.

    • Check out the Ice Core Temp Proxy for the last 450,000 yrs or so:
      http://mail.synergyitg.com/mike/climate/7.jpg

If you count just the main dips, which might match impacts events, and also use the initial dip from the warm interglacial as the first one, then there’s about 4 main dips each cycle, just like Mayhem said. Start at the left side of the graph first and it matches pretty well.

  • i have questions, since i do not want to be a journalist who reports here. i will simply ask, and hope someone does the research.
    1) is it theorized that the orbit of this binary system brings it from below our plane of sight?
    2) if so, has the earths magnetic field really been being pulled more so from the south facing direction? noting that this cycle of the suns reversal, quote from nasa” the northern hemisphere has switched but the southern magnetic spere seems to be stuck, WE simply dont know why” would a mass coming from below us cause the suns magnetic sphere to be pulled more to that direction?
    3) as seen a few times on BIN some have speculated this system was first seen near the bottom of the sirus constellation, if so has google sky really placed a blackout on this region of space?
    4) speculation would suggest, since the great pyramids and pyramids in central america line up with sirus, was this a way of getting our attention to look in that direction?
    5) what is the total count on comets since 2005? i lost count around 20.

    • Too lazy to do your own research? More likely you’re just trying to get folk to think for themselves. I could well be preaching to the choir but what-the-hey.

      1) we can’t think outside the box let alone work out all that.

      2) The sun is very quiet these days. This is not unprecedented. Fact: SC24 mirrors almost exactly SC5. Dalton minimum.

      3) moot.

      4) The pyramids layout reflect Orion as seen from earth when built.

      5) Don’t know.

      • perhaps it is a touch of being lazy, but as i first stated, i am not the journalit, in journalism, it is up to the writer to do the research and report what they find. hence my questions. if someone could calculate that there is a mass “out there” unknown disrupting what was the norm, it would ne measurable.
as for the question on the sun. i was not asking about sun spot activity, which actually has been quite active this week, with a M6 yesterday and a M9 a few hours ago. i was referring to NASA’s own admission that they did not know why the southern hemisphere was stuck, even though the northern had already flipped.
as for the pyramids, in context with the article. it was suggested ancient stone structures were designed as maps and calenders. my question was based upon previous BIN articles suggesting that this planet X was located at the end of the belt of orion. and were the ancients trying to tell us to look in that direction?? and is it true that google sky has that part of space censored out? see i dont want to be a journalist, nor report news here or anywhere else. so i threw these questions out there hoping someone might want to field them

      • taptap, I’m of the opinion that it is not only the mass that is affecting the Sun, it’s the EM field. Scientists have long ignored lots of the EM field effects in all modeling of our interaction with the rest of the Universe. There might be some using it in studies of the heliosphere, but others are not.

I think there could be a resonance that we have with nearby objects and with the Milky Way galaxy’s EM field and by inference, with the rest of the Universe. That resonance would have some long term cycle(s) that would influence in some way, the overall state of the Sun’s and the Earth’s EM field.

Trouble is, those kinds of things are hard to measure and thus, hard to quantify.

      • @taptap, that the sun did something this week is of no relevance as the fact remains that SC24 mirrors SC5. Don’t “actually” me unless you’ve got a half decent argument, thank you very much. I take your point that you were asking about the Sun’s magnetism and not Sun spots.

About the Pyramids: why then did you name and misspell Sirius?

    • I pointed out one possible EM resonance with the galactic magnetic field that might have a very small, but measurable effect on the Sun. We don’t know enough yet to say for sure.

We already know that the magnetic poles of the Sun flip in a regular pattern and this is tied with the sunspot count. Some people believe its the magnetic field cycle that controls the sunspot cycle. So, what controls this magnetic field cycle that keeps flipping it back and forth? Why, resonance as mentioned above, of course, but this time with something else.

Since the sunspot cycle length is about 11 years long or so, that becomes a big clue to what it is resonating with. Jupiter just so happens to take 11.86 years to orbit the sun. That’s a very close match to the sunspot cycle. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, but what else does Jupiter have that could be causing this resonance?

Besides a strong gravity field, Jupiter has a very large magnetic field, second only to the Sun’s. It also has a moon (Io) that orbits it that spews out lots of gases. These gases creates a torus of ionized particles in a ring around Jupiter that acts like a big giant wire. Jupiter is like a magnet and it is spinning underneath with its magnetic field lines moving through this giant wire. According to basic electrical engineering, this is how you make an electrical generator. This one happens to be planet size and in space.

It is said that when Io is perpendicular to a line drawn from the Sun to Jupiter, or twice in each orbit of Io, energetic events such as a beam of radiation is shot from Io towards the Sun (it is called the, “Io Shout”) and that affects the Sun’s magnetic field and control the sunspot cycle in some way.

The resonance then could be with the Jupiter/Io/Torus magnetic fields and orbital periods and that is what generates the overall cycle.

  • Mr mayhem, i am not trying to be argumentative, i see nothing wrong with asking questions. but it seems i am here now aking a third time, or stating now at this point, a NASA statement about the suns magnetic flip, as it pertained to their dismay as to why the southern field appeared to be stuck. as for sirus i am not an english major, nor an expert on names of the constellations, thats why i ask questions, if you noticed, i caught the mistake by reading your post that it was the constellation of orion which i do think sirius is part of. but as i stated i never intended an argument, or any hostile conjecture. i still dont understand why its a bad thing to ask questions. as for mispelling it will always happen, 1st and for most bad keys on a keyboard, crooked fingers that dont work 90% of the time, and a general disgust with a form of language that has no analytical value as to its rules of function. but it appears you knew what i was taking about, perhaps i coiuld of spelled it serious and you would of known what i was talking about. be proud of this, atleast you are not functionally illiterate as most people seem to be

    • Thanks for your explanation and consider that any tension, between us, exists in your head alone. It would appear you feel somewhat castigated and i feel like you’re just not getting my Kiwi accent.

You asked some questions, i attempted to answer the ones that i could. My comment about laziness was rather mild and i cannot see what the difficulty is.

It’s all good, be well taptap.

  • Another is that it happens very slowly, with the magnetic field reaching its full ‘peak’ of magnetic polarity sometime around the solar minimum (so, about 5-6 years from now). This is just when it crosses the line between ‘negative’ and ‘positive’.

The only thing unusual about this particular switch is that the northern hemisphere has already switched and the southern hemisphere is lagging behind. This is something for scientists to puzzle out, since it’s a little unusual, but it adds a note of interest to an otherwise rather mediocre solar maximum.

  • UberNuts

Not only did you impress with your fantastic images of comet Ison but you have also produced one of the best articles I’ve read on BIN in the last 12 months.
Congratulations InLikeFlint, I like your style.

    • Thanks, Chituali. I’m pleased that you liked the article so much.

I’m hoping to gather enough information on this to do another piece that is more in-depth. Hopefully, soon.

Gathering the info is not as easy as I first imagined, however. It looks like the bias in climate studies promoted by the PTB is limiting the availability of information.

  • I like cycles too: http://remnant13.wordpress.com/2012/04/02/homo-sapiens-to-homo-luminous-galactic-dawn-in-2012-in-laymans-terms-2/

but, see http://www.wmnh.com/wmgsche.htm – the geological record doesn’t support the theory though:

Interestingly enough though, “(t)he Galactic Plane transit model asserts that our solar system’s passage through the matter-rich galactic plane every 32 million years provides sufficient gravitational flux to disrupt Oort cloud comets. This idea is similar to “disk stripping” of globular clusters’ outer stars, also thought to occur due to passage through the galactic plane. …. This model fails the predictions test. A group of extinctions should line up on 26 or 32 million year intervals. No such grouping is observed in the fossil record, although gaps of 26-32 million years are sometimes observed between extinctions.”

  • We may be in for something though as the page http://www.wmnh.com/wmgsche.htm also state:
“The question arises, where are we are now? Our solar system will hit the Zone-3 peak in about 7 million years. Given the cosmic scales and dating uncertainties, one might say our foot is at the door of Zone-3. In terms of galactic geography, we are beginning to enter the inner part of the Orion spiral arm. The last time we were “here”, an 80km diameter crater (Puchezh-Katunki in Russia) greeted Earth and some of the dinosaur groups of that time had a noticeably bad year. On the Zone-3 visit previous to that (186 million years earlier), multiple craters and late Devonian mass extinctions were the result, perhaps the fourth or fifth worst extinction known from the fossil record. The Galactic Orbit model predicts 365 million years ago for the danger peak. We actually have evidence for two discreet extinction events during this interval, the Frasnian/Fammenian at ~367mya and the Devonian/Carboniferous at ~360mya. The good news is that the ultimate killer, Zone-1, is still 120 million years away and may be correlated to our solar system passing through the Crux spiral arm of the Milky Way. “
