The fireball was widely reported in the sky above Texas and Oklahoma – and this diver caught it on his car’s dashboard camera
YouTube user TXCodeNinja was driving along highway I-635 near Garland, Texas on Friday, January 24 when the unusually large fireball lit up the sky.
The video, taken with a ‘dashboard camera’ attached to his car, is thought to capture a meteor designated ‘Event 264′ by the American Meteor Association (AMS).
It was widely reported in the sky above Texas and Oklahoma, with many describing it as the biggest meteor they’d ever seen they’d ever seen.
