High flyer: A UFO was spotted in Chile’s clear skies
A flying saucer snapped above a remote Chilean copper mine has baffled Government experts who admitted it must be a real UFO.
The object was described by workers as “flattened disc of brilliant colour with a diameter of five to ten metres (16 to 32 feet)”.
One of the men took the pictures on a Kenox Samsung S860 camera after they spotted the object at the Collahuasi copper mine while they were working in April 2013.
Although the engineers didn’t want to talk about what they had seen, the photographer told a colleague at the mine.
He then sent copies to Chile’s Committee for the Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (CEFAA) earlier this year.
Now, the agency, which comes under the Ministerial Department of Civil Aeronautics, has published a report about the object which reportedly “performed ascending, descending and horizontal movements in short lengths, about 600 metres above the ground.”
