Get Ready: The Quadrantid Meteor Shower Peaks This Weekend & 2015′s First Full Moon

The Quadrantid meteor shower is capable to produce over 100 meteors per/hour as predicted

The meteor shower has a narrow peak that lasts for only a few hours
If you miss the peak you won’t see many meteors

The Quadrantid Meteor Shower Peaks on the nights between midnight and dawn on January 3 and/or 4.

Full Moon: On Jan. 5, the Earth will get 2015′s first full moon. The January full moon is referred to as Full Wolf Moon, Old Moon and the Moon after Yule. The moon reaches its full phase at 04:53 UTC when the moon is positioned directly opposite Earth.
