The preparation for SURVIVING an EMP is to stockpile parts. No
one is doing that.
The preparation for nuclear war is (1) deterrence (2) air defense.
We have reduced our numbers of warheads and delivery vehicles. That’s important,
because not every missile is going to work. Not every plane will get near its target.
Not every submarine will last long enough to launch its missiles.
Deterrence has been reduced.
Our air defense system is very limited. Yes, some of it is secret. But it’s not set up
to prevent catastrophic damage to the US.
And preventing the damage is by far the best way to survive.
