Over the past six months my basic foundational beliefs about this “planet” have been turned upside down. The proposition that the earth could be anything but a spinning ball seems insane. But as I began to pull back the covers and do my own investigative work from an open, objective, mindset I began to acquire more questions than answers. And that is where I stand today on the “flat earth.” I don’t know what to believe, but I could go either way. Both the round and flat earth arguments seem to have merit. What I find extremely humorous are those in the ”truth” movement and Christian community who aggressively demonize anyone who questions the round ball status quo. I thought we were suppose to question everything and trust only God. As each day passes, I’ve become more comfortable being uncomfortable, as an outcast.
