Jupiter was Hit By Mysterious Celestial Object caused out-of-the-World Explosion. Scientists stunned by impact.

The piece of space-rock that hit Jupiter must have been massive to cause that type of impact.
However, what may seem insignificant from thousands and thousands of miles away, was actually an unusually powerful explosion that surprised scientists.

Jupiter is a massive planet and almost 1,321 Earths can fit in Jupiter.  

Phil Plait of Bad Astronomy, has confirmed that the mysterious object to hit Jupiter was not massive in size although the impact of collision was quite large. 

According to Science Alert, planet Jupiter is used to getting hit by passing asteroids. As technology has evolved a lot, these explosions are now easily captured by telescopes and cameras.
