Space and Quakes (An Asteroid will pass Earth today)

Asteroids: There is one asteroid under 10 (LD) that will pass Earth today. That asteroid is (2009 UG) size 101 meters passing at the distance of 4.81 (LD). For now there is one asteroid that will pass under 10 (LD) in October. That is asteroid (2016 SR2) size 22 meters passing on October 27th at the distance of 3.77 (LD).

(LD) lunar distance — all lunar distances are minimums.


Solar Winds: Earth is still inside a stream of solar wind. This should continue with a 35% chance of geomagnetic storms and auroras.


Sunspots: Sunspot AR2597 is leaving the solar disk and poses little threat for strong solar flares.


Earthquakes: There has been 4 quakes of 4+ and 3 quakes of 5+ magnitude in the last 12 hours.


Storms: Tropical storm Chaba is moving west-northwest, it is west of Guam and east of the Philippines. Hurricane Matthew (category 2) is heading west, with warnings issued for Curacao, Aruba and Colombia/Venezuela border to Riohacha. Tropical Storm Ulika is heading northwest at this time.
