Space and Quakes (busy -- Asteroids to Storms)

Asteroids: There is a new asteroid that will pass Earth today under 10 (LD) and it is (2016 RU33) at the distance of 5.99 (LD). There is another tomorrow it is (2016 QL44) at 3.59 (LD). There are two more in September at this time, (2016 RM20) on the 20th at 6.18 (LD) and (2009 UG) on the 30th at 4.81 (LD).

(LD) lunar distance — all lunar distances are minimums.

Solar Winds: A stream of solar wind could reach Earth on the 20th.

Sunspots: None of the sunspots on the solar disk pose a threat for strong solar flares at this time.

Earthquakes: There has been 12 quakes of 4+ and 2 quakes of 5+ magnitude in the last 12 hours. There was 2 quakes of 6+ in Honiara, Soloman Island 3 hours ago.

Storms: Tropical Storm Julia (first time a tropical storm formed over land) is heading northward along the Georgia coastline. Tropical Storm Ian is moving northward with no change in strength. Hurricane Orlene is expected to move westward later today. Tropical Storm (Super Typhoon) Meranti is just south off the coast of Taiwan. Tropical Storm Malakas will need to be watched.
