Sunspots: Sunspot AR2615 had a M1-class solar flare yesterday. This was a relatively minor event and forecasters estimate a 10% chance of flares today.

Earthquakes: There has been 9 quakes of 4+ magnitude in the last 12 hours. 10 hours ago there was quakes of 5.0 / 5.4 magnitude in Tual, Maluku, Indonesia and a 5.7 magnitude in Sonsorol Village, Sonsorol, Palau.     UPDATE — There was a 5.3 magnitude quake in Villa Alota, Potosi, Bolivia about 4 hours ago.     2 nd UPDATE — There was a Tsunami warning 40 miles NW of Homer, Alaska about 2 hours ago.
