Sunspots: Sunspot AR2615 poses a threat for M-class solar flares and minor radio blackouts. The forecasters say there is a 20% chance of solar flares today.


Earthquakes: There has been 15 quakes of 4+ magnitude in the last 12 hours. 12 hours ago there was a 5.2 magnitude quake in Capellades, Cartago, Costa Rica. 7 hours ago there was a 5.0 magnitude quake in Paratunka, Kamtsjatka, Russia. 3 hours ago there was a 5.0 magnitude quake in Kerman, Iran.     UPDATE — there was a 5.2 magnitude quake in Darchula, Western Region, Nepal about an hour ago.
