If planet x exists and the orbit is as described as elliptical then the speed of the object would be very high. If inside the solar system it would be traveling at slingshot speed and pass us very quickly. That passing would happen only once. I have no idea what you are looking at but it is not a red star. If we get hit by a red star there is no place to run. I too rate this as fear porn.

However NASA also spoke of it doing it’s passing, and if it were to do this again, it doesn’t have to come close, and it will slingshot Neptune out into the kuiper belt area. It’s an object we wouldn’t even see.
