Life Is Not About Gaining Things. It's All About Letting Go.

I really am thankful for these tests for teaching me that it’s okay to be challenged and that it’s nothing to be fearful about or worry about for a prolonged period- life is just teaching me how to master myself – to be distracted or lose my footing but to learn to walk again and come back to my heart space. To be hurt but to learn how to forgive and understand and find the innocence that brings me closer to others not set me apart – and to feel all these miserable suffocating dense feelings and see them and feel them and hold them – so I can let them all go , sometimes along with my tears, sometimes with my writing – and free myself of the things that do not serve me. I’ve learned that recently – Life is not about gaining things.  It’s all about letting go.
