Holy does not mean perfect. The definition of holy: “1. Belonging to, derived from, or associated with a divine power; sacred.”
Neither is the word holy the property of Christianity that it only applies to ‘their’ deity.
The concept of an afterlife populated by beautified ones comes from Mithrasism, along with baptism, the eucharist, a half human half divine redeemer, born in a cave (Jesus was born in a stable that is actually a cave) on 25th december, same church heirarchy, same dress, same rituals, terminology, festivals dates and all.
A perfect deity would not need blood sacrifices in order to forgive, I don’t that must make me a far better person. Neither would a perfect anything delight in dashing infants against rocks. You have a really warped sense of perfect if you think the biblical deity is perfect. It’s a narcissistic scitzophrenic arse hole.
This message changed my life for the brief minute I was being humored while thinking it to be a shallow, dry, English rubbish type joke of the caliber one would see on a Monty Python show: Christianity is a game, like Monoploy, and Jesus is the “Get Out of Jail Free Card”.
If this isn’t supposed to be a cheap shot at that religion offered up as a joke, then I offer my condolences to the author as he apparently esteems himself to be so wise yet presents his utter ignorance in such blazing glory.
LMAO! RIght, God was bored, so he invented a game called Earth. In this game, God will take your infinite soul, put it in a human body and decide your soul’s eternity based on the decisions your souls during this infinitesimal amount of time in the body- because that make sense right. Even a hundred years of life would not be a microscopic ink mark on a never ending line, but that’s what your eternity will be judged on, because that’s “JUST.” — With that logic, let’s just decide a babies fate to live or die based on the first 10 seconds of their life. Oh, to make things more interesting, let’s make some rules that go against their primal instincts. Rule number 1: The baby can’t cry 2. The can’t take more than one breath.— And since God apparently has cultural preferences (ie. Since he didn’t give Asian, African, Middle Eastern countries the same story) then lets just say, if the baby isn’t born a certain skin tone, then they automatically lose and don’t even get the ten second. — The mis-logic of you people is so incredibly self serving and arrogant it’s sickening.
First of all holy means “separated for oneself” not perfect.
No need for the law even the mere discussion is a waste, we’re born with the nature of Adam and born in sin so lie all you want it doesn’t change the position one is in. The law was given to “shut every mouth” those of a religious nature who love to judge, seeing they don’t need a redeemer seeing they redeem themselves in the law, even though the Bible tells them no one will be redeem by the law.
Hell was not created for man, but those who rebelled against God as eternal torment. Will all suffer equally, no there are degrees of suffering. For man he will suffer eternal separation from his creator, one in denial this will become apparent, to those who seek truth this will be an eye opener of the truth they’d seek while alive.
To those who have no faith the idea of Jesus being of God and being the son of God is a tough one, we hear many say he’s a real man who existed but in no way is he of God. Yet He is the one who was sent as a perfect sacrifice. Sacrifice? why? The earth and the creation was created for one purpose and to those who are the center of their own lives this is going to be hard to accept, it was created for His good pleasure. Yep, God sought companionship and worship. It’s tough being a lowly creation and grasp being alone without anyone or anything to please Himself. Yet that’s the purpose.
Who ever wrote this lives in fantasy land, first if one goes by scripture he’ll find he needs not make up a story but go by what was written for our edification. The plan of salvation during the dispensation in which we live in was hid in God, it was laid before the foundation of the world. Salvation is not a fluke and any person who sees the evil of man cannot deny it exist and one way or another good also exist. So evil must originate somewhere as well as good. The fall of man was for seen, a tough concept I know, but it was, as well as free will, we chose to accept or reject. As a creation you have liberty and you chose what it means to you.
There is only one thing to do to be saved, believe that Christ died and paid for your sins. In scripture it’s clear no prayer, no baptism or any act can prove this but it is between you and God. Once you believe you are sealed in the holy spirit of promise. No matter who you do from that day forward you are of God and saved. No one can take this away from you and you have not earn your salvation it’s a gift from God. You now live your life as you see fit, either you’ll earn rewards for eternity or you’ll squander those things God puts before you. Read Ephesians chapter two and take your time, it will bring freedom to those who are under the yoke of bondage of both this world and religion, which are one and the same.
Last thing, you are not surrendering but the spirit man is back to what was meant before the fall of this creation, but to be in full fellowship with your Creator. The flesh will remain in battle with this new creation which is the new man but regardless God made if fool proof for those who sought him and didn’t give up or gave in tot he lies of the prince of this world.
