My SECRET HIDING PLACE

Quoted from BIBLE:

Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Life can be so overwhelming at times. We live in a fast paced society. With so much to do and so little time to do it all. Where can one go to find peace from it all? Did you know that there is a place where you can escape? Where it is free? Where you can get to quickly? Where no one can ever go but you? I call this place, “My secret hiding place.”

This is a place where there are no rules, no limitations, no boundaries. Here you will find true peace, true joy, true love. No one can harm you in this place. You are free here. You can go there any time you want. Want to go there now? It can be to your own secret hiding place. OK then, go ahead and go there.

You simply sit down and relax and close your eyes. Relax and this visualize where it is you want to go and then simply go there in your mind. This place can be whatever you choose. I personally love the ocean. Here I can walk on the beautiful white sand and I can hear the sound of the waves crashing in and the smell in the air is oh so wonderful here.

I can truly tell you that you will feel at peace. This is where I get all my ideas and inspiration from. This is where I finally have time to dwell on my life and think of all that is important to me. You can go to your hiding place any time you like. It is only a thought away. Take time for yourself and go there as often as you can. You will thank yourself when you do.

You will feel alive again. You will be more alert, calm, and at ease. The world can be such a hectic place and we all need to learn to relax. Some of the greatest ideas in the world come from people who go to their secret hiding place. Let go of all your worries, fears and the like. Don’t ever go to your hiding place with all this junk. Leave it all behind, as in NOW!!

Here you cannot be disturbed. There is only peace here. We are all here for a purpose. Sometimes we don’t know what that is. If you go to your hiding place, the way will be made known to you. All you have to do is listen. The mind is a wonderful thing. I urge you to use your mind wisely! Lifes greatest adventures start in the mind. This is the place where all dreams begin.

Your closet is your mind. And most importantly, your subconscious mind. The part of you that no one can touch. And this is the part of you that is the hard drive on your computer. Where the course of your life is set. Where we connect to God who is inside of us. And he is inside of us. He IS our subconscious mind.

All of life’s troubles are the very things that keep us from Being in contact with our higher selves. We were created to be Co-Creators with God. This means we can do what he does, except in a smaller way. Mankind has created all the cities in the world for example. God created the earth and all the materials on it. Now we take what has already placed here, and CREATE further with what we already have.

Not only that. Ideas, music, entertainment and the like we have created. And we all conceived our ideas from the closet inside of us. The secret hiding place that no man can reach. It is hard enough for even we ourselves to reach our secret hiding place. That says a lot. To reach our goals, we must reach our inner sanctuary. There is where decisions are made. And on the outside our decisions are enforced. Interesting.

We truly do have power on the inside. Our secret chamber is what Jesus was talking about. For there do we meet with God face to face, spirit to spirit. There our goals can be discussed. Is it easy to do? No, it is not. But that should never let us stop trying to get good at it. It is the goal we should all have. I do.
