WHAT AWAKENING MEANS TO ME

For me, the whole process of awakening began when I seriously began questioning everything going on around me. I began questioning every single belief that I held in my mind. I grew up a Christian and spent most of my life in and out of every denomination just seeking this “God.” I NEVER found what I was seeking by being in ANY Religion. It is only when I came out of ALL Religion, that I started truly finding out that this “God” wasn’t out there somewhere, but that this Source of Love has been inside of me the whole time.

Everyone on planet earth has a different name they choose to give to this great Energy. The truth is, this energy is nameless. It just IS. The best I can describe it all in my own mind is just pure Essence and pure LOVE. When you truly search your heart, you discover that LOVE is where EVERYTHING began and sprouted from.

To be awake simply means you have woken up to all the untruths that you have ever been told. It means you have come out of the box of what the world has made you believe. For me, this was an incredible journey. I am sure I still have a long way to go, and much I must still learn and figure out. I guess that is what this thing we call life is truly about. It is about EXPERIENCE. It is our journey towards knowing that we are ALL that we have been looking and searching for.

I had to learn to LET GO of everything that did not resonate any longer with my heart. This too, was a painful process. I am still letting go to this very day. We have so much we hold in our subconsious mind. How does one clean all that we do not want out? I wish we had a program like a computer that we could erase all that no longer serves us.

Awakening is easy for some, and not so easy for others. I guess it depends on how much Programming has been done to you. For me, it was hard to let go of all the religious belief systems I had been through most of my life. Actually, I believe I still have some of that programming still inside. Any time it comes to my mind, I try to replace it with my new belief system.

I ask myself, “What exactly is my new belief system.” The answer I come up with is just LOVE. I just want to see the world at peace once and for all. I want to see all hatred and division END. I want to see every man, woman and child be free. I want to see everyone on earth abundant in perfect health, wealth, etc. Duality has caused so much pain and misery. Awakening to me is also coming out of duality. There is only ONE Source and we are ALL from that Source and ARE that Source.

We have been searching our whole life to find out Who we are and where we came from. We have been searching everywhere but inside. We have allowed the beliefs and opinions of others to keep us from looking anywhere else. What a huge mess our world is in. Our egos refuse to let go of all that mess and just BE our natural state. It is only when I began to stop all the unnecessary chatter from my mind that I started realizing that I AM. Do I fully understand all of this yet? No, I do not. But, I will keep trying my best to calm the chatter and just be silent. I believe that it will be in this silence of my mind, that I will finally understand what it is I’ve been looking for.

Everything has been said to be one huge dream. Is it? Or is it that the reality we are currently experiencing is actually the dream, and we are trying to get out of it? Will we ever know for sure? Is our current reality a dream? How can we learn to truly change this reality to a better one? So many questions still not understood or answered.

Awakening has been called by many to be new age mumbo jumbo. Again, just someone else’s opinion and belief system. Why is it so many fear the unknown? Why do so many refuse to come out of the box? Is it because the sleeping world is just so use to things the way they are? When you are having a nightmare while dreaming, you cannot wait to wake up, but isn’t the world experiencing a nightmare we call daily life right now?? Why is it that others cannot seem to see what is really going on?

I believe the program of FEAR is keeping most asleep. When LOVE can begin to replace the FEAR programmed inside of us, then that is the time when I believe a mass AWAKENING will take place. So, to sum it all up, AWAKENING is NOT another Religion, New Age, A Cult, etc. It is simply BEING Aware and Being the Eternal Essence that we ALL ARE and always have been. Eternal Essence is an Eternal Energy that will never DIE. We are ALL LOVE and one day we will ALL wake up from our sleeping state to that eternal peace that we have lost due to DUALITY.
