Angel like lightning and the audible voice of Jesus

 Hello whomsoever. Here are just a few experiences I wanted to share that really happened to me, not a vision, not reading something and calling it a voice or appearance but in a very real literal way. For whatever reason I was’nt raised “churched” either though we did have a family bible. 

  One night in the early morning hours when I was a kid, a friend and I watched an angel through my living room window with large wings fly in from the south, land on the neighbors roof across the street, walk eastward towards the edge, look down as if into the garage of the house next door before suddenly turning it’s head to look towards me as if it had been caught off gaurd. He looked directly into my eyes, they as well as the entire being was solid bright white like lightning yet I could discern muscular tone, eyes, arms, legs, etc. A few days later we found out the guy we called uncle Jesse (looked like character from Dukes of Hazzard) had hung himself in that same garage. In addition to that, that same friend killed himself years later also. Needless to say the situation that night was frightening without mentioning the potential connection to their deaths as well as mine (see below) but what really fascinates me the most is the description of this angel in Matthew  and it being written so long ago. - 

 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.-Matthew28.2 

and the wings-

The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.-Exodus25.20 

Many years later in the early morning hours and near the closest to death I have ever been, I remember getting up from the sofa in was last effort of hope to get a green Gideon NT that a woman had left on the kitchen bar a few days earlier. When I sat back down intending to read but had only got as far as opening the cover when immediately an audible sitting beside me to the left said my name then- “I am Jesus (just as the spelling sounds), I died for your sins believe in Me and you will never perish”. Awestruck (previous to this I was saying God and specifically Christian anything was all just something for the weakminded) I stood to my feet (like I was empowered) turned towards the voice and said yes Lord. Again and now many years of studying later, I am completely amazed by the accuracy of the scriptures and specifically the New Testament.- 

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.-John5.25 

 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 
“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.-Acts9.3
