News: John Belham-Payne of the CFPS has Died

Last night Pagan Dawn magazine announced the sudden passing of John Belham-Payne of the Centre for Pagan Studies and the Doreen Valiente Foundation. You can read the full story here: http://www.pagandawnmag.org/sad-announce-sudden-passing-john-belham-payne/

John passed away yesterday morning.

I was particularly shocked because only yesterday morning I read his words at the end of the book Doreen Valiente – Witch, which is being launched in just a week’s time. John worked tirelessly to honour the legacy of Doreen Valiente. Arranging the publication of this book was a big part of that.

I feel so sad that he has passed.

May his journey to the Summerlands be smooth and may he be reunited with those who have gone before.

I will be posting a review of Doreen Valiente – Witch on the publication date of January 22 2016 as there is an embargo on review publication before that date.
