…and he will return before the day of YHWH!
*EVERYONE* admits that John the baptist fulfilled Isaiah 40:3 but not Malachi chapters 3 & 4, which Messiah alone revealed…”And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come”. Matthew 11:14
“And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite.” 2 Kings 1:8
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
The powerful indoctrination of Pharisee Paul:
And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,
…and his evil partners
And he will go forth before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous–to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
Whereas Luke denies that John is actually Elijah, Mark NEVER connects the names, but ad libs an unsubstantiated ‘did what was written about him’…really, where?
But I tell you that Elijah really has come, and they did whatever they pleased to him, just as it is written about him.”
Apostles Matthew and John DO NOT bring a gospel that repudiates multiple lives
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come?
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 But I say unto you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
WHAT IS WRITTEN confirms apostle Matthew’s record
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith YHWH of hosts.”
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YHWH:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Yes, John the baptist was the ‘voice crying in the wilderness’ but only Jesus revealed John’s true identity from Malachi
10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
[The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YHWH, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
“And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?” John 9:2
This occurs BEFORE both the 1st and 2nd resurrection…
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” Revelation 1:7
