“The Rapture is So Close!”

I am a Family Physician. Two or three years ago I had a delightful almost-100 year old WW2 veteran as my patient. Physically he was skin and bones but his mental status was untouched by time. His eyes would shine with joy!
During one visit, in the context of our current world situation, he stated with great enthusiasm: “The rapture is so close! It is so close! And just imagine, after it happens, there will be nothing left but Democrats!” I laughed so loudly that my nurse next door almost hit the big red emergency button!
I believe this brave patriot and brother in Christ was spot on. Please entertain a few conjectures with me!
Our Lord stated: “…this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Mt. 24: 34-35 and Lk. 21:32-33 NASB).
Both Matthew and Luke clarify which generation this is. It is the generation that sees the fig tree (Israel–and Luke adds: “and all the trees”—i.e. we Gentiles) put forth their leaves. It is the generation that finds itself at the end of the Braxton Hicks contractions, just as these prodromal (false labor) contractions transition into true labor cramps.
Let’s face it, wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, persecutions, false prophets, plagues and solar phenomena have occurred throughout the Church Age. These are what Jesus calls “the beginning of birth pangs” (Mt. 24:8). But Jesus stated there will be a “this generation”–a terminal generation, if you will. But how do we determine what identifies the terminal generation?
As Norman Geisler once said: “A text taken out of its context is a pretext.”[i][i] The context is that Jesus was speaking to Jews living in their homeland. If I might take the freedom to add my thoughts between His words: “This generation [of Jews in the land of Israel] will not pass away until all these things take place.” It could not have been the AD 33 generation because “all these things” didn’t take place then. So it must be the generation of Jews living in Israel that sees the signs of the end times (i.e “Summer”–Luke 21:30) occurring.
Of all the end-times signs Jesus enumerates, the least obvious may be the most profound: The re-founding of the nation of Israel on May 14, 1948. If you were a Jew in Israel at the time of Messiah, being scattered to the four corners of the world would probably not have been foremost on your mind. But it happened, just as Jesus predicted it would, in AD 70 (Luke 19:43-44; 21:44).
It seems to me that this singular event started the prophetic clock ticking toward midnight. In it, multiple “last days” prophecies began their fulfillment. “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?” (Isaiah 66:8). Yes, Israel May 14, 1948.
“For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land” (Ezekial 36:24). “The establishment of the modern state of Israel indicates this has initially begun”[ii][ii]
So, if May 14, 1948 marks the beginning of the final generation, what exactly is the length of a generation? If we look to the Bible it gives us an interesting possibility. “As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength, eighty years” (Psalm 90:10). The World Health Organization states that the average lifespan of an Israeli is 82.5 years[iii][iii], (80.6 years for a male and 84.3 years for a female). It appears that God has blessed the Jews with much strength!
Now for some interesting math: Scripture teaches that Jesus will take his Church home before the seven year period of tribulation. Let’s say the terminal Israeli generation has an 80 year shelf life. AD 1948 + 80 years = AD 2028. AD 2028 minus seven years (the tribulation). Is AD 2021.
There is a danger in date-setting. Jesus was quite clear that no human knows the day or hour of His return for the church (Mark 13:32). He did, however, say that when we see the signs of His soon coming we can be sure that “summer is near” (Mt. 24:32). It would appear that we are on the verge of summer.
This leads to another question: How much of a generation must be living before one can say that that generation had all passed away? Does it mean >50% must be living when He returns or can it mean that He could wait until there was just one person left living from the 1948 generation? It seems to me more likely to be the former than the latter. Which would mean that truly any day now the church could be called home!
It does appear that we are “so close to the rapture!” to quote my WW2 friend above. How certain is it? Jesus said: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Luke 21:33). In other words, the very ground you are standing on now and the air you are breathing is less dependable than Jesus’ words. He will come just as He said He would. And it appears His coming is soon (Revelation 22:6)! Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus!

There is no such thing as “The Rapture.” This is false doctrine. No one is going to magically be taken into Heaven before the end times. We either die a normal death, or live into, and perhaps through, the Tribulations.

There are examples of the rapture in the Bible….enoch. The antichrist cant come forward because he has a restrainer. Know who the restrainer is??? The Holy Spirit! Know where the Holy Spirit dwells??? In the church and no i dont mean a building. The book of revelations mentions the trib period and there is no mention of the Church in that segment. Rev 3:10 says He will keep the true Church out of this period. As in the days of Noe…noe and is family went into the ark and God sealed the door and while the world perished noe and his family was safe inside the ark. You think jesus is going to drag His bride through the mud just before the wedding?? God’s Called out ones, are only promised to be saved from GOD’S WRATH on the world. Completely different thing.
Revelation 9: 2-3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; [[[ but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.]]]
Again, Daniel 7:21-22, Daniel 8:24, Matthew 24 Rev 6: 9-17, Revelation 9: 2-3, Rev 12:11-12, 17, Rev 13: 7-10.
These, among many others, prove NO “pre-trib rapture”.

Catholic authority says that the Trinity “is not . . . directly and immediately [the] word of God.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.
The Catholic Encyclopedia comments:
“In Scripture there is as yet no single term by which the Three Divine Persons are denoted together. The word τρίας [tri′as] (of which the Latin trinitas is a translation) is first found in Theophilus of Antioch about A. D. 180.”
The New Catholic Encyclopedia also says: “The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the O[ld] T[estament].”
Update : The New Catholic Encyclopedia (1967) discusses the Trinity at length and admits:
“The Trinitarian dogma is in the last analysis a late 4th-century invention”
The formulation of ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century.” End of Quote

PSP Jesus Christ wrote the 10 Commandments in the two table of stone with HIS finger. It was not the Father that spoke face to face with Moses.

When they speak about who God was talking and praying to, they are quick to say “the other person, NOT HIMSELF!” But if you ask them how many gods do they pray to then they will say “ONLY ONE”!?! JOHN 14: 8-20 where Christ specifically identifies himself (his person as the person of both the father and the HS; the only distinction is in “location” and “method of manifestation” …….Note Isaiah 9:6. The reason people don’t understand revelation is because they never understood what the gospel message was in the first place! In that case, where does that put those who claim it is not essential for salvation? Do you not find it quite curious that the most “Personally” given NT book By Jesus himself, is the least understood and given the least importance for Salvation in Christendom?….There are numerous preachers and bible exegetes but as Paul said “… I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge” . Why are end time “christians” so vain to think they are more special to be saved from being harmed than all the christians throughout history, and even today, who have been persecuted and killed.
The rapture is the false deception created by Satan. Those who receive the “Mark of the Beast” won’t think it’s the Mark of the Beast because they believe that they will be raptured before the coming of the Mark of the Beast. Denominational christians, counterfeit christians, weak christians will receive the Mark of the Beast, unknowingly. True christians are to endure until the last day.
Let’s reason this out. If the rapture is to escape the tribulation, like how most christians beleive, why would the dead in Christ rise? If they are dead they shouldn’t be hurt by the persecution of christians during the tribulation. Christians who are living will need to endure unto the end and follow the “christian” underground railroad. Why are end time “christians” so vain to think they are more special than all the christians throughout history, and even today, who have been persecuted and killed.
There are, of course, two resurrections: the first at the soon to return of Jesus where the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead and the second at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ where all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the Book of Life according to their works – some to everlasting life, some to everlasting death. Blessed are the ones who rise in the first resurrection. (Revelation 20)

I have been studying the WORD of GOD since 1968.
When I began it made no sense, it was totally confusing. But as I learned the basic principles taught in the Bible and as i slowly began to apply them in my life my life changed.
There is not space for me to relate all of the incredible things that have taken place in my life and I am now 77 and the blessings are daily and are too many to count.
I have been “watching” for decades and all that that I have been watching for – are now here. My Father has in the last year placed me on an incredible tract of land that has all my family and I need to survive what is coming. I work 10 hours or more every day preparing and improving the land and the infrastructure and I love what I am doing.

Every thing written in God’s Word is true, once the basics are understood, except for what man has inserted, remember all Bibles are translated by men and most likely 99.9% of the translators were unconverted, then it can be understood by logic.
2 plus 2 in the Word is 4 every time and what God is doing here on earth was planned before creation began and all happens to the very day and to split second timing — all of which proves HE IS GOD.
Everything in the WORD fits together perfectly, and if I find something that is hard to understand I ask and sometimes the answer comes that very second.
I can not “prove” or relate what I have learned in this tiny comment but I have come to trust my Father 100%, when any are sick He heals us, we take no drugs of any kind and rarely go to a doctor, if there is a need it is supplied.
My life is living proof God is real and does exact what HE says HE will do.
