What Books are in Your Reading Pile of Shame?

No, I’m not asking whether you’ve got a copy of 50 Shades or similar dubious fiction in your bookcase, I’m talking about the books you’ve got that you haven’t read.

Back on the very first post on my blog, in November 2007, I said: “I inherited a vast library of occult tomes both from my grandma and my father and have read maybe one.”

It is shameful to admit I still haven’t read any of them. You can see me with some in a bookcase in the picture above. It is a photo taken in the early days of my blog when I was trying out images to use on it, which I rediscovered when I was going through old files on my computer.

I’ve also got a more recent pile of shame – including Leo Rising, which I was given to review last summer!

But I’m sure I’m not alone in having a stack of unread books.
