What to Read After Doing an English Lit MA?

You have to do a heck of a lot of reading for an English Literature MA. I’ve just finished the course I began a year ago, and for the first time since then I am at complete liberty to read things that aren’t on some academic list. Lovely!

However, I also fancied taking a break from actual reading. So, an audiobook about fictional witches in London sounded just the thing to start on. I was recommended London Coven – a WitchLit urban fantasy trilogy by M.V. Stott and David Bussell. The audiobook is read by Heather Tracy.

I’ve downloaded the first book, Familiar Magic, onto my Kindle and it is perfect for post-dissertation unwinding. To quote the description:
