AMMCOR Sponsors Local Teams and Community Events

San Clemente, California — By helping out in the community around them, AMMCOR shows how thankful they are for all the support they have received throughout the years, which has made AMMCOR so successful. Of the various areas that AMMCOR helps to sport, they are proud of their sports involvement.

AMMCOR contributes to the International Water Polo Team “Dog Beach Cleanup” in Huntington Beach. “We are proud to support this water polo team,” states CEO Dianne Davega, “we know that it takes money to help the team get to their various tournaments so we are honored to help them reach their destinations.”

And besides an international water polo team, AMMCOR also supports their local San Clemente High School Booster Club and Triton Softball Program. “Keeping kids actively involved in clubs and sports helps them learn new skills, establishes strong communication skills, and helps keep them out of trouble as they get older,” explains CEO Dianne Davega. This is why she and other AMMCOR employees are proud of their corporation’s donations to the local Boys & Girls Club of the South Coast Area, which is located in San Clemente.

AMMCOR as a corporation enjoys helping children in a number of ways. Besides supporting children’s teams and clubs, AMMCOR has also helped to support recreation for children with disabilities. AMMCOR accomplished this through their purchase of several 8’x8’ tiles for AMMCOR employees to decorate, paint, and personalized. The tiles will be fired and installed at “Courtney’s SandCastle Universally Accessible Playground.”

For AMMCOR, this playground has special importance. The playground offers a safe place for children with various disabilities to play with other children. A judgment free zone for children with physical, mental, and sensory disabilities to play is important for many AMMCOR employees who feel that all children should enjoy recreation. CEO Dianne Davega says it is important because, “all children need to play with others, even those with disabilities. This playground gives children with disabilities in San Clemente the ability to play on a playground designed towards their needs.”
