2013 Fantasy Football RB Rankings – NFL Week 16

.
With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2013 Week 16 fantasy football running back rankings.
.
1. LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
LeSean McCoy leads the NFL in rushing and total yards with 1,343 and 1,850 yards respectively. He also has eight combination touchdowns. Shady should absolutely shred the Chicago Bears terrible run defense. The Bears have allowed a league-leading 152.4 rushing yards per game. They have also yielded 17 rushing scores.
.
2. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
Speaking of bad run defenses, Jamaal Charles should run all over the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are yielding 128.9 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game. Charles is averaging 131.1 total yards and 1.3 touchdowns per game.
.
3. Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
Matt Forte is averaging 123 total yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He should be quite busy against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have allowed 115.9 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
.
4. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys
DeMarco Murray is averaging 106.1 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game. After last week’s debacle, the Dallas Cowboys should keep pounding him if/when they get up on the Washington Redskins. The Skins have allowed 110.9 yards and a league-leading 21 rushing touchdowns.
.
5. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch is averaging 99.7 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game. The Arizona Cardinals lead the NFL in run defense, but I still like Lynch’s chances.
.
6. Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins
Alfred Morris is averaging 84.4 yards and 0.4 touchdowns per game. He’s going up against the Cowboys. The Boys have allowed 129.9 yards and 1.1 touchdowns per game.
.
7. Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers
Le’Veon Bell is averaging 94 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He faces the Green Bay Packers. The Pack have allowed 123.4 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
.
8. Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers
Eddie Lacy is averaging 97.2 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. The Pittsburgh Steelers have allowed 115.6 yards and 1.1 touchdowns per game.
.
9. Knowshon Moreno, Denver Broncos
Knowshon Moreno is averaging 101.4 total yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game. He had just 55 total yards last week against the San Diego Chargers, but had some extra time to rest up for this week’s collision with the Houston Texans. The Texans are yielding 120.9 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game.
.
10. Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers
Frank Gore is averaging 82.3 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He should rip the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have allowed 131.4 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
.
11. Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers
Ryan Mathews is averaging 83.6 total yards and 0.4 touchdowns. In his past five games he’s averaging 112.6 total yards and 0.8 touchdowns. I’ve been hesitant to trust him since he burned me last year, but Mathews has been too goo to ignore. He should continue to roll against the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have allowed 103.9 yards and a touchdown per game..
.
12. Zac Stacy, St. Louis Rams
Zac Stacy is averaging 96.3 total yards and 0.7 touchdowns in his past 10 games. He faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have allowed 109.6 yards per game.
.
13. Reggie Bush, Detroit Lions
Reggie Bush is averaging 116.9 total yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game. He faces the New York Giants. The G-Men have allowed 107.4 yards and 0.7 touchdowns per game.
.
14 Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
Ray Rice has been a disappointment this year, but the Baltimore Ravens are peaking at the right time. He’s going up against the New England Patriots. The Pats have allowed 132.5 yards per game.
.
15. Rashard Jennings, Oakland Raiders
Rashard Jennings is averaging 116.5 total yards in his past six games. He’s facing the San Diego Chargers. The Bolts have allowed 108.8 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game.
.
16. Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals
Giovani Bernard is averaging 76.4 total yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. He faces the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes have allowed 115.9 yards and 0.9 touchdowns per game.
.
17. Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans
Chris Johnson is averaging 84.9 total yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game. The Jacksonville Jaguars are allowing 131.9 yards and 1.2 touchdowns per game, though they have improved recently.
.
18. Bobby Rainey, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bobby Rainey is averaging 80.3 yards and 0.8 touchdowns in his past six games. He faces the St. Louis Rams. The Rams have allowed 105.4 yards and 1.1 touchdowns per game.
.
19. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
Adrian Peterson has been a beast this year as usual. If he gives it a go (foot), it would be hard not to play against the Cincinnati Bengals. Monitor his status closely.
.
20. Steven Jackson, Atlanta Falcons
Steven Jackson is averaging 71.5 total yards and 1.3 touchdowns in his past three games. He’s a decent RB2 even against a tough San Francisco 49ers team.
