Daily Fantasy Football Roundtable: Week 10 DraftKings Must-Starts

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Every Friday, our contributors give you their must-start play for the weekend’s DraftKings’ contests.

Here are our picks for Week 10:

Brendan DonahueLeSean McCoy, RB, Philadelphia Eagles ($5,600)

Considered somewhat of a disappointment this year to fantasy owners because he hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 2, I expect a breakout game for McCoy this week against the Panthers. Carolina has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season and McCoy has gone over 80 rushing yards in each of his last four games. With Mark Sanchez now at QB, I expect McCoy to get the ball early and often against a weak Carolina rush defense and is a bargain at just $5,600 this week.

Ryan WattersonTorrey Smith, WR, Baltimore Ravens ($3,500)

Typically, my must-start is a value play, and I went that direction again. But it was very difficult to pass on Demaryius Thomas, as it is important to pay for studs when they are worth it, and Thomas is worth it this week. However, I went with Smith as his incredible value gives a lot more roster flexibility. Smith has undoubtedly been inconsistent this season, but he gets a matchup against a porous Titans defense that ranks 31st against WR2′s in defensive efficiency. I think the Ravens put up 30+ this week and Smith should be highly involved in that output.

Dan YanotchkoBobby Rainey, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($4,400)

This week, I am targeting Bobby Rainey of the Buccaneers at $4,400 to be one of the best bargains on DraftKings this week. I love the matchup Rainey has going against the Falcons, as they allow 34 FPS in PPR formats, and also 13 touchdowns to opposing running backs this year. Rainey has put up solid numbers this year, and even in the blowout loss earlier to Atlanta he had 11 carries for 41 yards and seven receptions for 64 yards as well. With Doug Martin missing practice yet again, and Charles Sims just came off of IR, I expect Rainey to dominate the touches this week.

Kevin HansonKelvin Benjamin, WR, Carolina Panthers ($4,200)

Several players scream value to me this week, but Benjamin is the biggest bargain. With the 39th-highest salary at wide receiver, Benjamin is my 11th-ranked wideout this week. In fact, this is his lowest price since Week 1. Although he’s coming off a disappointing performance (two catches for 18 yards on 10 targets), there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about a bounce-back game. At his size (6-5, 240), Benjamin is always a threat in the red zone and he’s getting consistent targets (8.7 per game) and Philadelphia’s secondary can be exploited. The Eagles have allowed six 100-yard receivers this season including three of them in the past two weeks.

-> Turn $40 into $1 Million in this week’s Millionaire Maker contest
