The San Francisco Giants had a very strong first half with the MLB‘s best record (57-33) prior to the All-Star break. We all know the second half has been the complete opposite. We’ve all snapped and thought our team was just going to flat out choke and miss the 2016 playoffs. Somehow, someway, the Giants put it all together and finished strong by sweeping Rich Hill, Clayton Kershaw, Kenta Maeda and the Los Angeles Dodgers!
The Giants will fly to the East Coast to face the New York Mets Wednesday night in the National League Wild Card game. It will be a battle of the Aces as the Giants send Madison Bumgarner to the mound to face the Mets Noah Syndergaard at Citi Field.
It’s just a one game playoff for the Wild card game to see who will head to Chicago to face the Chicago Cubs. I’m sure there’s nothing like getting thrown straight into a game 7 atmosphere for these teams!
