being a sports bettor based in southern Nevada I am very sad to read this news. Roy won me much money during the course of his career. He was an ace, no matter who he pitched for. Money in the bank. He just didn’t lose that many games.
RIP, Roy. Say “hi” to Fernandez for me up there.
look on the bright side, he like so many others before him died while doing what they loved best, plus his family has great memories of their time together
