New England Looks to Make an Impact in 2021 with New Look Young Roster
Last season the Pats were a team that looked early like a club that could still be a contender in the AFC despite the struggles they had on offense during the season.
On Wednesday night, the NFL released the 2021 Patriots schedule, and we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season!
After looking through the schedule and giving it some careful consideration, these are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:
9/26 vs New Orleans – After you’ve gotten a couple games into the 2021 season, it’s time to enjoy the Pats being at home to take on New Orleans for an early showdown with Jameis Winston and the Saints in what should be a fun affair between these AFC and NFC foes. Shut down that Saints offense and you have a great shot to pull off the upset that could go a long way to clinching a playoff spot.
10/31 at Los Angeles Chargers – Heading out west for some Halloween fun, the Pats are slated to take on the Charges in their 8th game of the 2021 season. The Bolts with second-year QB Justin Herbert are a team that will be a force to be reckoned with as they have a new coach and a new look. The Pats have a great shot to go out west and earn a win.
11/28 vs Tennessee Titans – The last couple of seasons the Titans were on the cusp of the Super Bowl, but fell just short. Now they once again will feed early and often running back Derrick Henry, and it’ll be the Pats D to need to step up and stop the stud running back who ran for 2000 yards last season. We will see if the Pats can score enough to hold the Titans in check.
