Three Games on the Panthers 2021 Schedule You Don’t Want to Miss

Matt Rhule and the Panthers had plenty of ups and downs in 2020, and by the time it was all said and done, the team was 5-11 as they looked to take steps forward last season.

They made moves via the draft and free agency to improve the team this offseason, and you can bet they feel like trading for Sam Darnold was a move that will only help this team.

Look for the Cats to be overall better, and for the team to challenge the best in the NFC.

While there’s a number of great matchups on the Panthers slate, including divisional games vs the Falcons, Bucs and Saints, the team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to.

Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

10/3 at Dallas – Dallas is ready to get back on track with QB Dak Prescott being close to 100 percent according to reports. Can the Panthers hold him in check, as not many teams were able to do that last season until Prescott broke his ankle. This could be a shootout, and it could be a fun one with Darnold and Prescott trading passes all day.

11/7 vs New England – In the past this was a huge game, but with Tom Brady wearing a Bucs uniform and another Super Bowl ring, the Pats are just not the same team and they don’t have the firepower that they have in the past. They missed the postseason in 2020, and the Cats are hoping to add another ‘L’ to their column when they go at it in early November at home. Cam Newton is slated right now to be the Pats starting QB, and he knows the Panthers very well as he was let go by them and went to the Pats last season.

12/26 vs Tampa Bay – Tom Brady made the Bucs a totally different team in 2020, and the team rallied to wind up playing and winning the Super Bowl, dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Raymond James Stadium. Now the two teams play the day after Christmas, and we will see if the Panthers have the weapons to stick with Brady and company to get a huge post holiday win.
