Christoph Schäfer, a professor of ancient history and Prof. Dietrich Mebs, a toxicological and forensic scientist, examine the theory of the poison-death of Cleopatra. By researching sources and means of practical zoology, they refute the 2000 year old legend of the queen’s suicide by a snake bite.
