Redneck Mystery Hunter Finds Human Footprint In Rock

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Well, here is one of the weirdest adventures that the Redneck Mystery Hunter aka The Redneck Archaeologist, Jackson Burns, has gone on. While seeking information on Pre-Columbian explorers rumored to have once been in what is now, present day Oklahoma, Jackson was contacted by a man with rock that seemed to have a human footprint embeded in it.

With a  curiosity that many times overwhelms his brain, and wallet as well, Burns takes off to find this man and, of course, be the first to document it on film. After contacting him and arranging to meet, Jackson left Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he had been investigating a story, and started a short drive into Oklahoma.

Nearing the town of Moffit, Burns turned on a given road, drove several miles thru the country, twisting and turning on numerous country lanes, built in the 1930s by WPA Workers, until he sees the proper hill, shed and trailer house and knows that he is in the right place. A rather modern looking mobile home set onto a rock outcrop of the hillside that dot the East Oklahoma landscape.

A couple of hounds run up barking as Jackson exits with no fear, seeking that elusive mystery overcomes any danger that might present itself, a tall, slender exits the mobile home and as the custom of the folks of that area offers his open hand as to say-”Come on, its OK, just walk slow”. Nodding and offering his hand for the dogs to smell, Jackson greets the man.

After some welcomes and general questions, they get down to business and the man shows, Burns a rock up the hill aways and says-”That’s where the Bigfoot print is”

Thinking the guy was nuttier than Grandma’s fruit salad, Burns thinks to himself that another trip is shot to Hell, but relents and climbs the hill to see the rock. Seeing something in the rock but not seeing anything really, Burns asks- “Anything Else?

“Sure, come with me” says the man. The guy returns to his home with Burns in tow, inside, he opens a wooden box and pulls out a rock about the size of a hand, with a definate imprint of what looked to be a woman’s toes and part of the foot embeded in solid rock which seemed to have been a sedimentary layer of what once was mud.

The guy had made a plaster cast which showed clearly the imprint as well as having the rock itself. After much examination, Jackson deemed the print as real. If this true, that makes the footprint to be over a million years old!
