Defining The Grays: Personal Reflections

James BraveWolf wrote a very interesting article today that everyone should read detailing an early childhood encounter with a group of grays.  Rather than presenting his story as an encounter with something good or evil, he presents his experience as he remembers it–through the lens of a child without any preconceived notions.  From what James has told me personally, this encounter lead to a life-long interest in the phenomenon.  I will add that James describes the feeling of the encounter as knowing that he was dying.  This is important.  I have explained in the past that encountering these entities is like encountering ones own death.  The experience is truly that petrifying.

At this point I want to use this post to write about the grays.  I want to explain my personal take on what they are and what they represent–at least to me.  I am not claiming that what I am going to put forth here is right and everyone else is wrong.  I am writing about what I have uncovered through my own set of experiences over the last thirty years.  I think about these things quite often and through this line of thinking have been able to intuit the world these beings come from and at times have interactions with them.   While I believe that the greys are highly ambiguous, I do not believe that they represent a vehicle of evolution as some claim, nor do I believe we are dealing with life from another planet.  For me the answer is much, much stranger than that.  The idea that they have lost their emotions is likely fairly close to the truth, but not as most people perceive it through a genetic or science fiction lens.  The grays are the dead and they are attempting to reclaim their humanity not through genetics, but through interactions with living human beings.  In this regard, they are ambiguous, neither wholly evil nor wholly good.  Individually they seem to be a mixture of both.  When you add to the reality that they are in possession of miraculous abilities due to crossing the threshold of death, the situation becomes stranger yet as they can bestow on the people they interact with the ability of  other-worldly perception among other things.

Almost two years ago on Luminosity I wrote an article called “Through The Obsidian”.  I wrote that article during a two week interval that was so intense that thinking back to it leads to clouded and disjointed memories.   The article began with me standing in my driveway staring at what I initially thought was a deer.  I say “deer” because the sense I got was that I caught an animal off guard.  I wasn’t supposed to have come outside when I did.  When my mind adjusted to what I saw, it was clear that I was staring directly and lucidly into large black eyes that reflected everything behind me.  Because I was in a profound state of shock, I actually reached into my pocket and attempted to pass off a piece of candy.  It was not a well-thought out gesture, it happened only as a matter of reflex.  I compare this to when you are talking to someone and you get distracted to the point you are merely talking and not making any sense.

After this event all hell broke loose.  I remembered walking hand in hand with a gray through a field, but it was more like dancing to a Doors song.  At some point I remember being taken to an area I perceived to be the pacific northwest, to a series of cabins where “they” showed me that they were making fake human beings that looked deflated.  This in itself was utterly bizarre and I still don’t understand the symbolism of that event.  To make matters even worse, during that same time frame,  I was arriving at work at 5am without realizing I had left my house.  I seldom get into work that early.  My perception was being altered almost from moment to moment.

These time anomalies weren’t just a personal matter.  My wife was forgetting things as simple as what we had for dinner the previous night.  It felt like we had entered a vicious circle of missing time, implanted memories, and much more.  I felt tired constantly.  I would sleep and see lights in the room through my closed eyelids, but when I opened my eyes nothing would be there.  On numerous occasions I had seen quick images  of grays throughout the house.  It was almost like they were standing still and then moved so quickly that their image was pressed upon my retina like a camera flash.  In a word, I was being put through the ringer on every level.  These beings were everywhere.

After nearly two weeks of this the effects began to subside. To this day I do wonder if my interactions with these ambiguous entities has lead to my own ability to see through the facade of this world and into the old world before the separation between objective and subjective reality took place.  That world never disappeared really, we simply got lost somewhere along the way.  I am not attempting to paint the grays as saviors of the human race because I don’t believe that.  What I do believe is that we are dealing with things too strange for our intellect to grasp.  There comes a point where every attempt to reason our way through this become null and void.  Reaching that point may in fact be what some of “them” are aiming for.

Now let me be very blunt in saying that I believe that the grays are exceedingly dark and dangerous.   I believe that many of them are highly diminished intellectually and have become vicious.  I think that there is a possibility that there are groups of grays behind human abductions and mutilations that have taken place.  I suspect that these cases have been covered up.  I don’t think this is common, nor do I believe they are always able to enter into the physical domain and interact with human beings.  However, they are clearly able to manipulate reality to some extent and can easily manipulate human beings.   These dark grays thrive solely off of the lowest manifestations of their diminishing human souls. Whether we are talking about grays on the ascent or descent, they all use sympathetic magic and this is the heart of their technology.

But there is always the other hand.  Last year when my own inner experiences began to open up, I found myself in an area that looked a lot like a normal American neighborhood. The houses looked slightly off, but it was clear I was in an area where their presence was felt.  In that neighborhood I saw grays and human beings that appeared to be a hybrid mixture.  I believe that this place was the imaginal domain and not a spacecraft or another planet.  Keep in mind that there is a big difference between the imaginal domain and “imaginary”.  The imaginal domain is every bit as real as the physical world is.   The imaginal domain is not a world of extension and space, but a world that is almost purely noetic and accessible only through the human Soul.   I think that the idea that grays are from outer space is patently ridiculous–but again that’s just my opinion.  Having interacted with these things for many years now, I have never been lead to believe, at least I don’t think, that I was ever dealing with “extra-terrestrials.”  Even during the encounter in my driveway, the feeling I got was that this gray was a mixture of human and large insect.  Almost like I was looking at a very ashen child with bulging, reflective black eyes like those of a fly. 

These experiences have run the gamut for me.  I can definitely say that there has been a mixture of good and bad.  Through all of this there is only one thing I am certain of.  These are human beings that have died.  I have no doubt at all about that. They are not ghosts, they are very much alive and sometimes have the ability to enter into the physical domain under many disguises.  However, they are not able to hold those forms for very long.  Some of them are continuing on their downward path into pure oblivion through violence and sexual voyeurism, while others seem to be “working things out” postmortem and returning, as it were, to the Pleroma. 

In both scenarios the grays need human beings.  The idea of collecting sperm and eggs strikes me as a confusion, a kind of middle point of the good and bad.  There is a sexual connotation involved and there is also the idea that they need our “material” in order to resurrect their own humanity and form. I don’t believe that this is always destructive to human beings, but the relationship can and often does degenerate.  I tell most people that come to me to not exhaust too much thinking about them because it can cause obsession and worse.  The reality is that when most people die, they will likely begin to look different because the Soul or Mind becomes the body in the postmortem world.  Many will degenerate toward insect like beings, grays in particular.  I don’t know why this happens, but I know that it does happen. Moving in the opposite direction, however, leads toward a higher state in close proximity to God, toward the perfection of ones humanity and form.

The incessant need to paint a picture that we are dealing with nuts and bolts craft and purely physical entities only reveals the lack of spiritual depth today.  The UFO lore of aliens from another star system is an artifact of this lack of depth and inability to understand the seamless reality that we are all a part of, but largely cut off from.  What we are really dealing with is death and the postmortem world.  We are dealing with entities in search of their humanity, some who have not lost hope and others that seem to have fallen hard into the darkest corners imaginable.
