The Consuming Realization Of Oneself

About a year ago or longer, I wrote a post on Luminosity detailing an event where I was walking across a bridge with a friend very late at night.  Behind us was a being whose face I couldn’t entirely make out ushering us along so we wouldn’t fall onto the street below.  There was a feeling of what I would call “divine intoxication”.  Every time the breeze hit my body I felt as though I was getting closer and closer to the divine.  The following morning after this event my friend believed that I had driven him home from a bar.  But I was actually home the entire night and never left the house.  The event was very pleasant in the sense that I felt that I was being cared for by something much greater than myself…the particular being that was walking behind me.  While the bridge was a real place in the physical world, the world I had entered on the other side of the bridge was not real in the same sense.  This experience, maybe more than any other, helped me to understand that the physical world literally contains snippets of the Pleroma.  For me personally, Montauk and more specifically Montauk Tower represents but one of those snippets.

But before I begin this post, I need to explain a couple things.  Mainly the difference between the Pleroma and the Imaginal.  Because unless this is understood, one cannot hope to understand what I am trying to explain on this blog.

The Pleroma simply means “the fullness of divinity”.  It is not a place in the sense that it has a spatial dimension.  It is not a state of mind.  In fact, as human beings we cannot entirely express what it is because our minds cannot conceive of it.  In a way, it is all of these things.  It is both a state of mind and a “space less” dimension sometimes referred to as “Hyperborea” and by many other names.  It is also much, much more.  The Pleroma is not a new concept, it is actually quite old.  It is the dwelling of Gods and Angels, where they are brought in pure resonance with God without losing their primordial individuality in the process.  If man loses his identity in God he could no longer experience anything but the sleeping void of oblivion. Within this seamless Pleroma there is no conflict between absolute diversity and absolute oneness, because it is the “fullness” of all things.  So, ultimately, the Pleroma is the primordial state, the pure land that is already complete, having no need whatsoever for “evolution”.  It is quite literally “fullness” having within itself the divine archetypal personality of every human being, planet, animal, and form of life and existence that has ever lived or will ever live–it has these all at once.  Upon entering that domain, if one is so blessed, the journey of the human individual is over having joined to that divine archetypal self.  There is no need for growth or development, for those things exist only among the cursed.  I’m intentionally being repetitive here in order to convey this idea accurately.

The mundus imaginalis, or imaginal, is the space in between the physical world and the Pleroma.  It is within the imaginal domain that all of our demons roam.  Yet at the same time it is a place with many good things to offer.  The landscapes of the imaginal are made up solely of ones own wisdom and inward nature.  A being that is ugly, hostile, and unexamined will inhabit gloomy landscapes that are illumined only very slightly by the Sun that shines in the Pleroma.  A being that has not quite fully purified his or her self, but has made it far, will often experience postmortem life in far more pleasant landscapes and around much more gentle souls.  The imaginal domain is purely noetic, it is within our Soul at this very moment and its worlds are forged by the kind of life we live.

To be clear the physical world is a mixture of both the Pleroma and the Imaginal, but in truth nothing exists outside the grasp of the Pleroma.  In one manner of speaking, the physical world is actually the Pleroma in disguise.

Ufos, aliens, and demons live strictly within the imaginal domain, which is connected to every mind living in the physical world today.  It is from the imaginal that physical humanity creates its many stories and mythologies, both the dark ones and the light.   We use artistic media to bring these forms to life in modern stories and movies.  Often times creative people are in very close communion with the imaginal, more so than regular people.  For this reason many creative people live very tortured and difficult lives because many of them are at odd with the normal destructive currents that take place in the physical world.

Upon death, a human being doesn’t escape their body and float off into space, they are immersed deep within their mind/soul.  It is there, in these internal noetic landscapes that a person is transformed either into a deformed soul seeking to communicate with the physical domain (thereby taking on a demonic postmortem condition), or where they prepare for their journey home into the Pleroma, which will be the greatest and most meaningful journey one will ever have to take.  But this journey isn’t really a journey as much as it is a consuming realization of oneself.  I will get into that shortly.

Here is where things tend to get very tricky.  In order to return ”home” a long process of purification must first take place.  The Soul, which is really the mind of an individual, must take every dark thing within itself and extract it.  These dark things stand in the way.  If a person refuses that confrontation, their postmortem states of existence will be a trial unlike any other.  All the demons not faced in life will most certainly await.  A person in such a condition may meander for long periods of time in complete spiritual disarray and confusion, much like a bad dream where nothing you do makes any sense. I believe it is fair to say that there comes a point when such a soul no longer has the ability to find its way home.  When that happens it likely sleeps forever.  However, the Seraph or Archetypal self of that person never dies, as always it remains in its Hyperborean home, the Pleroma.  Because we are all imperfect and suffering from our own imperfections, we have no way of logically knowing or understanding why our lives as human beings are necessary.  Such things can only be made clear when we have finally been united to the missing half of ourselves.

Matthew 18:3 “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

It is fair to say, as Christ did, that a return to ones innocence is of the utmost importance.  The primordial and archetypal individuality of a person did not crystallize and come to earth.  It never truly left the Pleroma.  That’s the big secret.  Our human individuality, in a sense, is a symbolic representation of something much grander.  We are not really traveling on our journey home, we are attempting to remember what we were and to become joined to that Archetypal individual who is our real self; complete, sinless, and perfect.
