The world has mistaken sentimentality, kindness, and emotionalism with divinity.  These days if you aren’t nice, or don’t smile, you aren’t enlightened.  In a word, you must be dark and evil at the center of your being.  If you curse, come on strong, or don’t sit in the lotus posture with the sun beating on your brow so someone can take a picture of you, you have to be a spiritual neanderthal.   These days the human soul is manipulated so thoroughly by modern culture, the culture of comfort and convenience, that one cannot know for certain if they are speaking with a  cohesive individual or a legion of fragments swimming inside of a human skull.  Struggle builds character, that is a timeless truth.

Take Patty Hearst as a corollary example of how the manipulation of modern culture works.  Patty was kidnapped by the SLA in 1974 where she was indoctrinated via trauma.  Her trauma consisted of being continually raped and brutalized by retrograde specimens of humanity.  The indoctrination went so deep that not only did she begin to believe the messages she was given, she also began to passionately promote it.  And so it is with people today.  Expose them to media and cultural trauma, repeat the message over and over again, and the empty vessel is procured–ready to fight for whatever cause the social engineers hiding behind the media and cinema tell them.

The Seraph has departed from many people, and what remains is a mere shell to be used for the pleasure of whomever desires to have it.  Make no mistake, there are any number of Soul takers and abusers, both human and otherwise, waiting in the wings for an easy soul to take.  For this reason it is best for one to be on their guard, and to no longer expose themselves to the images promoted in a modern culture whose morality and ideations are now totally irrelevant.  These days it’s no longer a matter of what you say, but how you say it.  For this reason sensitive people, those that haven’t the gall to face their own darkness, mistake what I write here and only see darkness rather than the hope that lies beyond the dark.

The pursuit of wisdom demands the entire being, not just a tiny piece of it.  The journey is a fight against all the negative and dark things that have entered into the soul clouding the perception and the vision of home.  This is why purification is necessary.  The more modern destructive imagery you take in and accept, the more darkness clings to you.  I have begun to cut back on reading my usual blog stops and websites.  This is due mostly to reading the typical slogans representative of the feeble self-examination that is characteristic of the modern mentality and modern spirituality.  These people are fond of  saying things like:

“Namaste”

“That’s close minded.”

“We need to spiritually evolve.”

“You’re too judgmental.”

“I listen to what the universe tells me.”

“Quantum physics tells us that…”

Visiting these places is tantamount to listening to a broken record that is mediocre at best.  How long will it take to understand that stunningly simple reality that:

“Movement is a sin, everything that is real is silent, still.”

But what does Mitchell know anyway?  He just gets up on his soapbox preaching his judgmental narrow-mindedness. I think he might be a part of that vast right wing conspiracy I was talking about. Ohhh and he’s sooo dark.  Yeah, Yeah.  I get it.  My answer to that is simple. In these times, you’d have to be a fool to not pass judgement.  Especially in an era where truth has become a matter of opinion rather than a thing established in those immaterial realms from which the physical domain receives its life and health.  Choose and discern carefully!  Your life really will depend on it.

The most beautiful things in this life are those that are filled with deep meaning. Those things are closer to the Pleroma than we realize.  These are also the things we no longer allow ourselves to see because standing between our wandering human nature and the Seraph is an ominous dark cloud filled with every disastrous image that murders the Seraph.  A commentor on this blog some time ago accused me of endangering my children by “toying” with the dark.  He claimed that I was being plagued by something that was destroying me. According to him “I just couldn’t get enough.”  To a large extent he was right.  What he didn’t realize, because he was a shiftless coward and a snake, was that I would have done far more harm to my children by not dealing with the dark.  By merely keeping it buried within the soul, it would have been unleashed in spades upon many generations of my family, not just my children.  My fore bearers did just that, nothing.  And what occurred were countless early deaths and struggles that could have been resolved early on.  This is true of all families.  You either defeat your demons, or you pass them on to your children.  It is really that simple.  A thorough confrontation with the dark is therefore necessary. 

Ultimately, there are two paths open to people. One is true while the other is a clever fiction devised by those that have painfully mistaken gushy emotions with divinity. The true message, the one that will eventually be revealed to every soul, is that life in the physical world is merely a symbol of what is real–not reality itself.  The great fiction of our age is that the physical domain is reality, a reality that requires evolution and completion. The facts however speak for themselves.  For over a hundred years now, the pimps of spiritual evolution from Sri Aurobindo and Blavatsky to David Icke and Whitley Strieber have been devising new and innovative ideas to save a world that is inevitably cyclical.  The physical world follows cycles of birth and death solely because it is an imperfect reflection of the real world or Pleroma.  There is no escaping these cycles.  We are presently at the end of the creative cycle and that is why things are spiraling out of control.  This is a natural process where death ensues when the physical domain no longer resembles the Pleroma.

In this regard thee are two types of people as well.  Those that meander in ideas, which is doxa or opinion and those that have resolved within themselves to travel the long and difficult road, which is a salvific work.  The more outward a spirituality becomes, the more it lacks that divine inwardness and inward seeking.  It is within the human Soul that the Pleroma actually resides.  That is not to negate the outward life, it is to enrich it by using ones own Soul to bring what is truly divine into the world, even if it may appear harsh to the uninitiated and lost soul that remains firmly planted in the earth in complete denial of heaven.

Images like this are a purely outward spirituality, a spirituality that is ugly and empty but disguises itself as “enlightened”.  So enlightened they are that they must have their picture taken to show the entire world:

The valid spiritual journey, however, is conveyed far more accurately in the picture below.  A struggle that none of us can back down from because so much is riding on it.  To believe in the bullshit that the spiritual peddlers like Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle promote is like opting out of the struggle.  In many ways these modern spiritual wares are worse because they present only a part of the truth followed by anti-traditional nonsense aimed at people that are too hung up and hostile to actually investigate the valid currents of wisdom.  These “currents of valid wisdom” often seem mean and harsh to people because they have accepted the lie that ease and happiness is the earmark of a successful inner life. They think that in order to be a spiritual master, you must use the word “love” at least three times per paragraph. That’s a novice interpretation.  These people want a “spiritual experience” to enrich their lives, not realizing that this attitude is incredibly selfish.  I would even venture to say there is a certain darkness about it.

It all boils down to one thing in the end.  We all have to die. From that harrowing reality there is no escape.  The king of terror stalks us at every moment until they day he pulls us into the darkness where we will be left to ourselves.  Then the battle for ones life truly begins.  It is in the “alone” that people for the first time realize the ugly things that have consumed pieces of their soul.  Will they find the road to heaven, or will they fall into the abyss conquered by their seething hatred for God, for light, wisdom, and for everything that actually means something?  Most, sadly, will fall back into the emptiness of their present spiritual understanding and live potentially forever on the outskirts of a dark town called Hades, where they will be barely conscious of their own self-identity.  Life will go on for a long stretch, wandering in one dark valley on to the next.

While it may sound highly unlikely to those readers that love to hate me, but I love people, particularly the people I call my kith and kin. My hostility is toward the hellish existence that people have chosen because they cannot get beyond the fake dichotomies of modern culture that are manipulating the way they think.  These people tend to hide so much of themselves under a veneer of kindness, wisdom and compassion.   They have none of that when it truly counts.  When you expose them to real trauma, they are quickly broken.  It is then that they reveal their true humanity, vapid and without substance, their love waxing cold.

A meaningful yet difficult life is superior to a life of ease.  The ancient world, as violent as it was, created a climate through which the mortal shell was cracked clean open.  This didn’t merely “create” or forge a persons divine and dignified character, it revealed what was already there, deep inside, unseen.  Today that has all changed.  We have written a bill of divorce from the divine.  We cannot fathom submission to divinity or hierarchical structure because modern humanity is convinced of its own arrogant superiority.   And so quick we are to pass judgement on the modes of thinking of the ancients when it was clear that they represented a far more divine character than we. 

The sins and failures of this world are now being exposed.  The darkness that we only thought existed in horror movies is quickly becoming real.  The reason this is occurring now is quite simple, and I will get further into it in my next post.  The physical domain is now fracturing into two divergent worlds.  These worlds actually exist within one another, but very few are able to see it at this point.  In the coming years, this split will become more and more obvious.  Finally, when the divide becomes too great, the physical domain will conclude, but not in the manner you may believe.  All of these emerging symptoms today, the mental illness, the sickness, the suffering is related solely to this process.
