The World Of The Seraphim

According to Zeno’s paradoxes, motion is in fact an illusion.  What this necessarily means is that time itself is an illusion  According to  Meister Eckhart, “Nothing in all creation is so like God as stillness.”   This “stillness” is not a mere stillness as we know it in this world.  This primordial stillness is the silent substratum or womb of everything that is unreal. Whether we realize it or not, much of what we see and believe is based upon a very clever deception.  This deception is the belief that the world we are living in is real and substantial.  As I mentioned in an earlier post, the further we investigate matter and magnify it, the more we realize that matter itself is not actually there, but seems to be composed of empty space and possibilities.  This is very telling for a number of reasons.

It is easy to claim that this stillness is in fact the substratum of this unreal physical world. The problem comes in when we attempt to reduce that stillness to an empty and impersonal state of mind or being, and from there making that stillness into the nihilistic center of human philosophy and spiritual inquiry. It is not that this stillness is empty at all, the stillness is absolutely full and complete in itself.  Having lost the sense of divine vision or revelation, the very thought of Gods and divine beings seems laughable in a modernized, soul-less society.  Man, however, does not have the last laugh.

For the last several months I have been using the term “Pleroma” to describe the absolute point of perfection, a point NOT in need of evolution or any kind of humanistic spiritual development.  Further I have explained that the Pleroma is a place where everything (and I mean everything) is a part of a seamless whole that is indivisible yet allowing a diversity that does not offend it because every unique being possesses every other being “within” itself.  This is a world unlike anything we could possibly understand.  Without having the organ for inward revelation, this divine world will escape our observation.  Yet be that as it may, even through personal revelation, we can only catch brief glimpses of this world and live in it momentarily before we are consumed once again by the unreal, where we are often made to doubt its arch-angelic reality.

Those alive in the Pleroma, the Seraphim, are the archetypal forms of human beings living today. Their inter-relationship with one another is more profound than any friendship we could know on earth, and being androgyne, this relationship is not obsessive, mean, opposing, contradictory, or even sexual in nature.  Their experience of one another transcends anything we can understand of family and friendship, because unlike human beings, the Seraphim do not  hide anything form one another.  While they are indeed diverse, they partake in a singular state of being.  Their existence is one of pure spontaneity where thought and act are one motion descending from the central Sun of their world, which is God. To be more plain, none of these beings live for themselves, they live solely to reflect the light of the divine world.  It is from this Sun that all of their joy and diversity is fixed in the absolute where it is mirrored back to the central Sun and to a lesser extent shone into the physical domain.  Death, space, and time are meaningless to these Seraphim because they have no thought of a “Self” that is detached from God.  This reality is what makes us living in the physical domain an illusion in the truest sense.  Until we uncover this inward mystery, we remain incomplete and in error.

Penetrating into this world is no simple task.  The preparation for even a brief glimpse often takes many years.  The journey into that world is not for people that go on “spiritual retreats”.  It is not for people that have noisy souls who cannot fathom the thought of their own inward, holy silence.  Moreover, it is not for people engaged in the modern culture of protest, who squander their lives away playing video games, and latching on to spiritual and conspiratorial fads because at heart they cannot stand the thought of themselves.  It is not for people that have been suckered into the left vs. right dichotomy, or for those people that are so terribly immersed into the wonderment of the physical world that they are inwardly blind to what is real.

It is important to realize at this point in history that these two worlds, the real and unreal, are beginning to separate and this has many profound implications.  Only now, after so many years of unknowing and blindness, are people beginning to see the evil that upholds this domain and rules over it.  Two divergent paths are being formed.  One path leads to what is real, and the other leads, sadly, to crap like this.  I am not talking about a calm and settled transformation of people and the world they live in.  When the divine world hurls its light into people and into a world darkened by its own ignorance, the results are often very violent leading to the desposing of rulers, sacred cows and  ideas that have darkened the soul.
