For more than 20 years, I and a few psychiatrists have felt like an embattled minority, because we have continued to insist that gays aren’t born that way.
For most of this (20th) century, we have considered this behavior aberrant…a pathology. We had patients who would seek out one sex partner after another-total strangers-on a single night, then come limping into our offices the next day to tell us how they were hurting themselves. Since we were in the business of helping people learn how not to keep hurting themselves, many of us thought we were quietly doing God’s work.
Now, in the opinion of those who make up the so-called cultural elite, our view is “out of date.” The elite say we hurt people more than we help them, and that we belong in one of the century’s dustbins. They have managed to sell this idea to a great many Americans, thereby making homosexuality fashionable and raising formerly aberrant behavior to the status of an “alternate lifestyle.”…
HOMOSEXUAL REVOLUTION ORCHESTRATED
How did this change come about? Well, the revolution did not just happen…
It was all part of a plan, as one gay publication put it, “to make the whole world gay.” I am not making this up. You can read an account of the campaign in Dennis Altman’s The Homosexualization of America. In 1982 Altman, himself gay, reported with an air of elation that more and more Americans were thinking like gays and acting like gays. There were engaged, that is, “in numbers of short-lived sexual adventures either in place of or alongside long-term relationships.” Altman cited the heterosexual equivalents of gay saunas and the emergence of the swinging singles scene as proofs that “promiscuity and ‘impersonal sex’ are determined more by social possibilities than by inherent differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals, or even between men and women.”
Heady stuff. Gays said they could “reinvent human nature, reinvent themselves.” To do this, these re-inventors had to clear away one major obstacle. No, they didn’t go after the nation’s clergy. They targeted the members of a worldly priesthood, the psychiatric community, and neutralized them with a radical redefinition of homosexuality itself. In 1972 and 1973 they co-opted the leadership of the American Psychiatric Association and, through a series of political maneuvers, lies and outright flim-flams, they “cured” homosexuality overnight-by fiat. They got the A.P.A. to say that same-sex sex was “not a disorder.” It was merely “a condition”-as neutral as lefthandedness.
HATRED, INTIMIDATION & INTOLERANCE
This amounted to a full approval of homosexuality. Those of us who did not go along with the political redefinition were soon silenced at our own professional meetings. Our lectures were canceled inside academe and our research papers turned down in the learned journals. Worse things followed in the culture at large. Television and movie producers began to do stories promoting homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle.

They turn every scientific agreement into a political issue -- which is all they can really do, since the only science they have going for them is pseudoscience." A gay review board told Hollywood how it should deal or not deal with homosexuality. Mainstream publishers turned down books that objected to the gay revolution. Gays and lesbians influenced sex education in our nation’s schools, and gay and lesbian libbers seized wide control of faculty committees in our nations’ colleges. State legislatures nullified laws against sodomy.
If the print media paid any attention at all, they tended to hail the gay revolution, possibly because many of the reporters on gay issues were themselves gay and open advocates for the movement. And those reporters who were not gay seemed too intimidated by groupthink to expose what was going on in their own newsrooms.
And now, what happens to those of us who stand up and object? Gay activists have already anticipated that. They have created a kind of conventional wisdom: that we suffer from homophobia, a disease that has actually been invented by gays projecting their own fear on society. And we are bigots besides, because, they say, we fail to deal with gays compassionately.
Gays are now no different than people born black or Hispanic or physically challenged. Since gays are born that way and have no choice about their sexual orientation, anyone who calls same-sex sex an aberration is now a bigot. Un-American, too. Astoundingly now, college freshmen come home for their first Thanksgiving to announce, “Hey, Mom! Hey, Dad! We’ve taken the high moral ground. We’ve joined the gay revolution.”
BRAINWASHED
My wife, Clare, who has an unerring aptitude for getting to the heart of things, said one day recently in passing, “I think everybody’s being brainwashed.” That gave me a start. I know “brainwashing” is a term that has been used and overused. But my wife’s casual observation only reminded me of a brilliant tract I had read several years ago and then forgotten. It was called After the Ball: How America Will Conquer its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 1990′s, by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen.
That book turned out to be the blueprint gay activists would use in their campaign to normalize the abnormal through a variety of brainwashing techniques once catalogued by Robert Jay Lifton in his seminal work, Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism: A Study of Brainwashing in China.
These activists got the media and the money to radicalize America-by processes known as desensitization, jamming and conversion. They would desensitize the public by selling the notion that gays were “just like everyone else.” This would make the engine of prejudice run out of steam, i.e., lull straights into an attitude of indifference.
They would jam the public by shaming them into a kind of guilt at their own “bigotry.” Kirk and Madsen wrote:
All normal persons feel shame when they perceive that they are not thinking, feeling, or acting like one of the pack….The trick is to get the bigot into the position of feeling a conflicting twinge of shame…when his homo-hatred surfaces. Thus, propagandistic advertisement can depict homophobic and homo-hating bigots as crude loudmouths….It can show them being criticized, hated, shunned. It can depict gays experiencing horrific suffering as the direct result of homohatred-suffering of which even most bigots would be ashamed to be the cause.
Finally-this was the process they called conversion-Kirk and Madsen predicted a mass public change of heart would follow, even among bigots, “if we can actually make them like us.” They wrote, “Conversion aims at just this…conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will, through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media.”
In the movie “Philadelphia” we see the shaming technique and the conversion process working at the highest media level. We saw Tom Hank’s character suffering (because he was gay and had AIDS) at the hands of bigots in his Philadelphia law firm. Not only were we ashamed of the homophobic behavior of the villainous straight lawyers in the firm; we felt nothing but sympathy for the suffering Hanks. (Members of the Motion Picture Academy felt so much sympathy they gave Hanks an Oscar.) Our feelings helped fulfill Kirk and Madsen’s strategy: “to make Americans hold us in warm regard, whether they like it or not.”
Few dared speak out against “Philadelphia” as an example of the kind of propaganda Kirk and Madsen had called for. By then, four years after the publication of the Kirk-Madsen blueprint, the American public had already been programmed. Homosexuality was now simply “an alternate lifestyle.”
Best of all, because of the persuaders embedded in thousands of media messages, society’s acceptance of homosexuality seemed one of those spontaneous, historic turnings in time-yes, a kind of conversion. Nobody quite knew how it happened, but the nation had changed. We had become more sophisticated, more loving toward all, even toward those “afflicted” with the malady-excuse me, condition.
By 1992 the President of the United States said it was time that people who were openly gay and lesbian should not be ousted from the nation’s armed forces. In 1993 the nation’s media celebrated a huge outpouring of gay pride in Washington, D.C. Television viewers chanted along with half a million marchers, “Two, four, six, eight! Being gay is really great.” We felt good about ourselves. We were patriotic Americans. We had abolished one more form of discrimination, wiped out one of society’s most enduring afflictions: homophobia. Best of all, we knew now that gay was good, gay was free.

Maybe if the world went gay then it would depopulate itself without the need for extermination? Well they do say part of the new world order is to decrease the world population don’t they.
So therefore it is common sense why they would promote gayness. The fact is, if they did do this, in time the population would become extinct.
Extinct? If the whole world suddenly accepted homosexuality, I assure you there would still be more than enough heterosexual people born into every generation to keep the world overpopulated. The human race, or even just most of it, is not going to suddenly become gay just because it’s acceptable, it’s not going to turn the whole world gay. If crack or meth was legalized, would you suddenly become a junkie just because you could? I wouldn’t. There will never be a danger of the human race dying out because too many people are gay, that’s just silly.
I personally have no problem with people being gay, I know a few gay couples. The ones I know are faithful to each other, they don’t go out and have lot’s of sex with strangers. Of course many do, just as many hetero people do. I assure you that in both the gay and the straight communities, there are people who only have sex with someone they love and there are people who have sex with anything that walks. Don’t kid yourself into thinking all gays are walking sex machines, or that no straight person isn’t one. I don’t really care whether any of you are against people being gay or if you think it’s a perversion, so you can comment back and blast me all you want, it doesn’t bother me because you are entitled to your veiws and I am entitled to mine. However, don’t make the mistake of confusing a calculated plan to control society by using popular platforms with basing your beliefs purely on what the TPTB are feeding people; the truth is much more convaluted than they would have you believe.
You want to know why TPTB (whatever they call themselves, Illuminati or something else) use gay rights as one of their platforms? Because they realized after WW2 that taking the platform of only white christians and no one else being acceptable caused a world war. They now use the platform of diversity because they can get more support for it, plain and simple. They don’t care about anyone’s rights or lives, they only care about what the best way is to get as much support as possible until it’s too late to oppose them (and I think it’s probably too late already). That’s why the company Common Purpose has used the mantle of diversity to take complete control of the EU, and the US is on it’s way to becoming a Common Purpose nation.
In the 1970s popular psychiatry found homosexuality to be an aberration, unfortunately the plethora of free rights and gay rights groups threatened enough doctors to change the criteria.

Batman…did you mean to say CP instead of OP? If so, look I’m not at all a moron, I have done some research into CP. I saw an article and some videos about them here on BIN a month ago, and I spent a couple of hours afterward reading about them on other sites. Based on what I read, they are not working for the greater good; they are using diversity as a platform so that anyone who opposes them is labelled as hateful. The sources I was using definately had some views I disagree with but from what I was able to find on CP, they are like the social organizational arm of whoever is at the center of controlling things in the EU. They have a presence in the US so that’s why I said we are on our way to becoming a CP nation. However, I have no problem amending my opinon when presented with new evidence, so if you or anyone else has links to some solid (not just CP member created) information that disproves what I read about them, I would like to read it. I have no problem admitting I am wrong when the evidence shows it; but from what I have seen so far, CP is nefarious and they are in control of the EU’s social apparatus for the purpose of helping THPB maintain control when a full on collapse happens there.

Rayvn it sounds like you have a very closed view of psychologists and psychiatrists. Not all of us wish to “cram” pills down peoples throats. There is a very large segment of the medical community that has fallen into the trap of siding with pharma companies. Its not about treating patients its about selling pills and this was something that was just beginning in the 1970s. the same doctors saying homosexuality was a deviation from the norm weren’t the ones shoving pills into toddlers.
Though I tend to hold back on medicating people till last resort it IS an option for those that are severely imbalanced. Or would you prefer george to sit in his house rocking back and forth thinking about all that’s coming to get him till the point he comes to your house to get you?

Malaki, yes I do despise psychs because from the time I was 8 years old until i was 18 I was forced to take drugs that I did not need. It was abuse, and my mother was all to happy to force me to be drugged so she wouldn’t be bothered by my existence, she would much rather have had me a drugged out zombie and the pyschs were happy to comply. I am traumatized by psychs and so yes, I care nothing about what they say. If you are one, and you reject the ‘give them a pill and shut them up’ approach, then good, and I hope the whole industry will one day change toward that way of practicing. But when you have been flat out abused by many people in one profession, you tend to have a very dim view of that profession as a whole. In my experience, all psychs think that if someone believes in any kind of supernatural existance, any kind of god outside the accepted religions, and if anyone embraces emotions that they can channel into art, they are labeled mentally ill. The truly mentally ill, who are a danger to themselves and others, those people do needs meds. People like myself, who are just angsty gothic artists, do not. Identity crisis is a suggestible, mental state, and the life of each gay (or prospective gay) is forever in transition.
Homosexuality is a perversion plain and simple. How can something that is so unnatural and in no way fits into a scientific perspective (I can’t believe evolutionist haven’t jumped all over this, survival of the fittest nope now survival of the gayest) be so acceptable by people especially believers. John, I really think the people who believe this stuff think they would be happier in the 1950s. Of course the women better pray they don’t have abusive husbands, since there were no domestic violence laws and they couldn’t get a divorce on those grounds. Also better hope that neither parent abuses the children, no laws against that either back then. Oh, and they should REALLY hope that they don’t end up pissing off a neighbor or friend who would be willing to report them as ‘pinkos’ to the FBI for revenge, I hear they didn’t give you much of a chance to prove you’re innocent of communism before ruining your life.

I am a health care provider.
Only a few percent (3 or less) are often estimated to be fully homosexual. That is after decades of LGBT activity and even applies in the most ‘progressive’ environments, the most exposed to ‘thought reform. No one is going to become gay and are unlikely to stop being it.
As they seem to be ‘queered’ in every other way but their sexuality though you are quite right to question the motives of those people and organizations who go on and on pushing it.

In a nutshell–or butthell–, Jews control finance, law firms and courts, academia, media, and campaign donations. Jews favored gays, and that is why America went ‘gay’.
Marriage is NOT an individual right. It is a bio-moral contract requiring certain qualifications. Marriage as biologically and morally defined is the emotional/sexual/legal contract between man and woman bound by love and committed to the raising of the children they produce together.
Since a gay couple don’t meet the qualifications, they don’t deserve to get married.
Marriage is not about what any individual wants. It is about an agreement he or she enters into. If anything, marriage curtails certain rights and freedoms, because you become duty-bound to the person you marry.
If we define marriage as any kind of right, why not ‘friend marriage’? How about two straight guys with separate girlfriends ‘marry as friends just to share each other’s benefits’?
Or how about incest marriage between father and daughter, mother and son, and father and son? If we’re gonna define marriage as whatever anyone wants to do, then it is everything, thus nothing.
“Gay marriage” freaks keep yammering about equality, but equality applies only to basic individual rights, not to contracts, qualifications, and admissions. Everyone has a right to want to graduate from highschool and attend college. But not everyone is guaranteed a high school diploma or college admission. It doesn’t matter how hard a student tries; if he doesn’t make the grade, he’s not getting in. He can’t say ‘I have a right to get into college’. He only has a right to try to qualify for college.
Similarly, one has a right to study medicine and get a medical degree. One cannot say he has a right to a medical degree. Also, not all medicines are equal. A student of voodoo medicine has a right to study that stuff but he has no right to demand medical license as a doctor because he’s a witch doctor.
‘Gay marriage’ is to real marriage what a witch doctor is to a real doctor. Gays can play ‘man and wife’ on their own, but they have no right to force the rest of us to accept their idiot arrangement as real marriage. If ‘gay marriage’ is real marriage, a plastic tomato is real tomato.
