WWE Payback results: World Wrestling Entertainment
WWE Payback results for the Sunday event are now available. Chicago, Illinois was host to all the action. According to the Inquisitr on June 17, 2013, World Wrestling Entertainment did not disappoint.
The WWE Payback results kicked off with Sheamus defeating Damien Sandow in the first match of the night. No surprises here, but it did get the crowned going early on. As for the Intercontinental Championship Curtis Axel soundly defeated Wade Barrett, defending champion and The Miz.
The awesome AJ Lee took down champion Kaitlyn in the Divas championship match. Kane who defeated the champion Dean Ambrose by counting out settled the United States Championship.
In World Heavyweight championship action Alberto Del Rio came out on top of defending champion Dolph Ziggler. The big event of the night was actually when CM Punk won big over Chris Jericho.
“Finally in the match of the night John Cena took on Ryback and claimed victory in both the Tablets Match and Ambulance Match.”
The WWE Payback results are the first of its kind as this event replaces the “No Way Out” event. The matches were built up by previous episodes of WWE’s “Raw” and “Smackdown” television shows. WWE is a publicly traded enterprise that is best known for both its television programs and live wresting events.
