Witness Statement: I was on my way to pick my son up from sea cadets when i saw an orange light in the sky. i thought nothing of it and continued in the direction of the light. i then noticed erratic movement of the light but put it down to my driving as i was doing 30mph. the light went out of sight as i was driving disappearing behind rooftops. i turned left onto Scrapsgate road and knew the light would be directly to my left and i looked while still driving. it had changed direction and was heading my way….again i thought nothing of it as i was in a heavily built up residential area. while driving at 20mph i was still watching the orange light and saw it rise up and vanish. i looked back onto the road for 3/4 seconds and looked once more outta curiosity again. i saw something and pulled over immediatley. there was a hazy metallic disc (not shiny) hovering now close by. my window was already down and i leaned right out to take a better look. this disc object had no lights and no sound and was moving back and forth above my vehicle….. i wanted to get out but my commitment to my son was greater so i sped off. the disk followed me for 2 seconds and i lost visual of it…… when i say it was hazy it was like it was kind of cloaked into then night sky but not fully. it wasn’t translucent and the way it moved was unconventional and i would say not even drones or model aircraft could replicate this…. 1 more thing…. when i arrived at my destination 4/5mins later i immediately got out the car scouting the night sky but had no look. hope this report helps
