Jimmy Savile’s Scottish lair

”It is certain that onomatology, or the science of names, forms a very interesting part of the investigations of the higher Masonry…. –(Encyclopedia of Freemasonry)KK/33

I noted last month that actor Brian Cox was chosen to carry the Commonwealth Games baton into coveted Rosslyn Chapel : “Apparently the name Brian has connotations with kings and exalted/high/noble, whilst his surname guides us in the direction of coxswain, someone who steers a vessel“. From Templar to Garter

Today it is reported that Judo player, Euan Burton, has been chosen to carry the Scotland flag (saltire)  at tomorrow’s opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games, a year and a day after royal baby George’s birth.

The name Euan means born of the yew tree and is also “loosely associated with the Scottish god of the glen(wiki)

The surname Burton is derived from the “settlement belonging to a forthere

Thus we have born of the yew in a fort related settlement.

The police operation investigating Jimmy Savile was code named “yew tree“.

There is a place in Scotland called Fortingall, in Glen Lyon, which boasts an ancient yew tree, perhaps the oldest tree in Britain : (wiki)

The area immediately surrounding Fortingall has a variety of prehistoric archaeological sites including Càrn na Marbh, a Bronze Age tumulus. Place-name and archaeological evidence hint at an Iron Age cult centre at Fortingall, which may have had this tree as its focus. The site was Christianised during the Dark Ages, with the yew already full grown, perhaps because it was already a sacred place“..

According to local legend, Pontius Pilate was born in its shade and played there as a child“.

Note some claim too, that Fortingall was once a hot-bed of Druid activity.

It was a Robert Campbell of Glen Lyon who led the Campbells when they slaughtered the MacDonalds on the grounds they had been too slow in pledging their allegience to their new monarchs, William of Orange and Mary. Some might suggest that the Glencoe mass-murder was a magickal blood sacrifice.

Friend of the “establishment”, Jimmy Savile, adored Glencoe. See Fallen Angels for more.

cheers
