Living on the Edge: Update from Tel Aviv

Thanks Henry for sending this article about another American trapped in Israel. I thought about escaping Israel “illegally” but knew I’d face the same dilemmas as the author faces, losing my children possibly forever.

I chose to fight for my children; thus I am still at the mercy of the corrupt and heartless Israeli police and anti-family court.

I was back in jail before the summer for a two-day stint as my bitch ex falsely accused me of vandalizing her car. I was out in two days thanks to a friend posting bail but the criminal judge granted my ex a restraining order preventing my seeing my children for most of the summer. I expect to serve another two or three weeks in jail for failing to pay the impossible child support the adulterous greedy bitch was awarded for wrecking our family. It is what it is. I’d rather do time occasionally than give that bitch a single shekel.

That being said I am doing well and quite happy in my minimalist life. I was earning $75,000 to $100,000 a year in the States as a real estate agent. I’ve gone from math teacher and soccer coach to the sleazy underbelly of criminal Israeli on-line pharmaceuticals and casinos to my current job as a cook. I love it. My brothers and I used to fantasize about having our restaurant so working in a kitchen is a real pleasure. The pay is peanuts – 1000₪ a week ($325 roughly) – but the perks of the job are great. Food, drinks and social life with English speakers in similar situations.

The restaurant industry is a cash industry making it basically impossible for a greedy bitch ex-wife to get her hands on the money. No doubt she would if she could, even if that meant me living homeless in the streets. She’d like that, using it in court to possibly block my visits with the law on her side. She does so now illegally.

There is a definite freedom living without a bank account, or ANY account. My one luxury is an iPhone with an anonymous pre-paid account for phone and internet. Nothing is in my name in this country, except perhaps the taxes my employer withholds and for a pension I will never receive even if it amounted to something significant, which it won’t.

GAZA BAD FOR TOURISM

The Gaza operation (Protective Shield I think the Israeli propagandists called it) was and is a total farce. It killed business this summer. Every industry dealing with tourism was shit out of luck, and even businesses relying on local patronage suffered as the sheeple here continued to run for cover each time Big Brother sounded the sirens to indicate an inaccurately fired rocket was about to be shot down by Iron Dome. The entire society has been basically numb and stuck in their homes for the summer, stupidly supporting their criminal government in the massacre sold as a war.

The Gaza operation was launched on the heels of what I believe was a false flag murder of three settler teens including one American Jewish immigrant. Despite Hamas denying any involvement Netanyahu launched the campaign as planned first with a “Bring back our boys” PR campaign and then the military action, “Brothers Keeper.”

It surfaced here that the police knew the boys were murdered hours after they were abducted from a phone call one made; however, Bibi carried on with the two PR shams for a few weeks, letting people assume the boys were captive and alive like Gilad Shalit.

An FBI analysis of the murder tape concluded that the boys were shot to death, ten shots from a gun with a silencer. Who knows if they were even killed. Maybe they’re Mossad trainees now. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if the Israelis killed the kids themselves OR faked it to give themselves a pretext for the summer of “fun.”

SOCIAL LIFE

I am currently enjoying my forced mid-life crisis, looking for a good woman while enjoying the very Israeli lifestyle of friends with benefits. This place is so immoral it’s not funny, though it is fun. Sodom and Gomorrah were probably tame and moral relative to this Satanic capital of the world. I have stripper friends who frequent BDSM clubs in Tel Aviv. I was recently invited to join one at a place called “The Dungeon.” Some Holy Land, eh?

Luckily we have the NFL package at the restaurant and neighboring bar do I can stupefy myself with an idiotic distraction to get my mind off the reality that I live in the devil’s den.

Still, the beach is the beach, the sea the sea, the moon the moon and the sunset always beautiful. Life could be worse. I’ll keep you posted if I go to prison again.

My first stint a year ago resulted in some interesting musings and interviews with other unfortunate men going through what I am. I got halfway through transcribing those notes written in the margins of a few Israeli newspapers before my computer stopped working. My next stint will no doubt result in something similar as there’s not much else to do other than read and write during a two or three week “holiday.”
