Ah, The Anomalist……my buddies?

Patrick Huyghe’s site. The Anomalist, is a source for unusual and/or paranormal internet finds.

And it has favored this blog with more attention than it deserves.

But I notice that CM, one of the persons who locates internet listings for The Anomalist, often uses postings of mine, without attribution; that is, CM doesn’t say he/she found the internet item at this blog but offers the listing as an internet find by CM presumably.

There are two notices for 4/22/16, that have to come only from this blog, as they were from private Facebook postings at my FB page. They did not come from a overt, popular internet site that CM would have access to. The are obscure sites or personal URLs that FB friends post for their friends, not internet sites generally open to Google searchers. (The Anomalist listings are the one about a hotel ghost and one, from an academic friend of mine, about insect consciousness.)

There is another posting of mine, listed the other day by CM, without noting he/she found it by reading this blog. (This has happened more often than I care to note.)

Posting this acrimony will cause The Anomalist to cast me out from its listings perhaps.

But it’s a dishonesty that The Anomalist shouldn’t partake of. Taking work from others, without attribution, is something that we news media people see as anathema.
