Done With Dentistry For the Year

I made it! I took the silly pills, made it to the dentist, and came back out again minus one bad baby tooth but plus 3 crowns! I thought I was only getting 2– but I got 3! Which is awesome, as that means I don’t have to save up again for that third one. And I am done with dentists for the year. I’m all caught up for now.

*falls over in relief*

I also picked up a couple of coats that were forgotten at my ex’s house, Windy Firs, as well as some mail that was delivered there. That went off without a hitch, luckily, as the “hostage exchange” was made on the front stoop of what used to be my house. When I got home and unpacked the plastic bag, I had a strong moment of nostalgia (from the smell on my coats) for my former home. I just hugged them to my chest and buried my face in them for a couple of minutes. But I did NOT weep! I think I’m adjusting to my circumstances at last.

NOW I just have to get my name changed over, and everything in my name changed over. That will take some doing, but the best part is that I won’t have a long list of to-dos anymore once that is taken care of, just my regular projects plus some house and yard stuff.

Even though I slept most of the day, I am really drowsy and am heading off to bed again already. I had a big day and I’m spent.
