Coping Methods for Alien Abductions: Overcoming Projected Mental Imagery

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

On my last Coping post, I discussed ways to help overcome the imposed amnesia regarding alien faces, which is extra pronounced. This week’s post is an in-depth addendum to that one.

One of the problems we have identifying alien types is that many will project a mental image to go over themselves. A mental mask, or even full body ‘costume.’ The key here is knowing that these constructs are incredibly fragile and fall apart very easily.

While you can stare at a projection so long it eventually just ‘melts’ away (not sure why the projection falls away in that manner, but…) However, this runs the risk of making prolonged eye contact which can make it extra difficult to keep autonomy.

Therefore, I advise a much less risky method that works like a charm!

Reach out and touch ‘em!

That seems scary, but you have to remember that they are already there. Confirming through touch is great because it much harder to project a tactile sense than a visual one. For one thing, the aliens are primarily visual in how they perceive the world (those big eyes make that obvious enough!) so visual projections are easier for them. For another, adding a layer of touch to an illusion seems beyond their capabilities. Once you reach out and try to verify fur on a giant cat or feathers on a giant owl, you’ll notice it all falls apart.

I know many abductees are thinking about how often they are paralyzed and unable to move– but that’s almost exclusively at the very beginning of an abduction when they are afraid of you defending yourself by attacking them. Otherwise, the only other time you’ll be paralyzed is likely to be during medical procedures. While going from one area of a ship to another, or while waiting your turn, or during dramatic ‘scenarios’ or training– you’ll be able to move and you can test your senses.

We’re so used to keeping our bubble of space around us that it often just doesn’t occur to us to invade another being’s personal space to touch them and verify what is there, but you must keep in mind that you are already there against your will (usually.) Therefore, you are entitled to break some rules of courtesy yourself. Touching won’t hurt them, but it will inform you.

It does mean you have to be within arm’s reach of the being in question, but you’ll have plenty of chances for that!

Don’t be aggressive (they may knock you out or paralyze you in response) just slowly reach out and touch in order to feel. You may feel them react mentally in alarm. If so, just project to them, as calmly as you can, that you’re not going to hurt them. Then do it. You can also try for the sneaky touch when they’re just next to you and not paying much attention, that works too.

Bonus– if you’re worried that you’re crazy and hallucinating, tactile contact helps to verify one way or the other. No matter what, you’ll pick up vital information. Are you interacting with a non-material being? Is it just a mental projection? Or will you feel something unexpected? Or will you feel just what you see? Expect anything.

Interestingly, I’ve done this so often that I’ve started to really go to town with this aspect of reality testing!
An example of that HERE–> spirals-end.livejournal.com/42691.html

They knew I was curious and trying to learn more, and they granted me a session to just feel what a grey was like. I was astonished, but then again– my group seems to want to work with me, now that they know I’m consciously aware of them in my life. I’ve also been reprimanded for reaching out and touching (or, rather, trying to touch) a higher-up female. That didn’t go over so well, but I take the mixed reactions as indication that it MATTERS if we doubt our visual senses and insist on confirmation from our hands. It also means we can learn a great deal by how they react to this in differing circumstances.

And remember to write down what you find as soon as you have made your latest discovery! At Spiral’s End: What’s Left After the Paradigm Shatters is the personal paranormal blog of a woman that follows not only current odd events in her life, but recounts incidents from her past, including lifelong alien abductions, encounters with ghosts and other spiritual beings, and premonitions from either waking visions or dreams. She reacts and speculates about the deeper meaning behind these incidents and wonders– what is the ultimate reality or intelligence behind it all?
