Nick Redfern, in a Destination America repeat show from 2015, said that the alleged men who visited Harold Dahn of the Maury Island incident of 1947 were the first “men in black.”
The first “Men in Black” actually appear in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, Genesis 18:2.
This is the Biblical episode where three “angels” or two “angels” and God appear to Abraham, to announce the birth of Isaac.
Yes, the heavenly creatures are not dressed in black – the appearance was in the desert after all – but their demeanor and messaging was not unlike that of the modern Men in Black.
It seems that unusual persons (men and women) show up at various times in history.
Albert Rosales, in his Humanoid series, recounts the appearances of men and women who warn or impart information to witnesses in a number of instances, many after or during a UFO event and some just to beg for attention or prayerful sustenance as most of the Marian appearances tell us.
Visitors who show up in the face of or at locales of persons who’ve seen a UFO or who are just going about their lives are plentiful when one scours literature or news accounts.
Nick’s Men in Black are of the eerie, often threatening type, but there a lot of others who just show up unannounced to provide a message of some kind.
The message(s) from Mary, the mother of Christ supposedly, are self-serving, odd pleas for worship mostly.
Now. why would an entity from Heaven or afterlife seek ego-gratification, using innocent or mentally challenged individuals – young girls mostly – to ask for attention?
Such requests, like those from the Men in Black who ask for silence from UFO witnesses, are cringe-worthy. Nick’s book(s) about the Men in Black present countless visitations that are surely cringe-worthy, but the requests from alleged heavenly creatures are often as cringe-worthy, as one can see by reading details enumerated in the many Marian tales that have surfaced over the years (and continue to do so).
So, Nick’s Men in Black are scary (even lethal in some instances) so he (Nick) is correct when he says that the Dahl visitors are the first Men in Black who were dressed in black and threatening.
But Abraham’s visitors and those Marian appearances can be considered in the same vein as Nick’s Men in Black, not dressed in black or threatening but just as spooky when one thinks about it.
N.B. Lest some think I’m being disrespectful of Mary, the mother of Jesus/Christ, I am a member of The Legion of Mary, in perpetuum.
