The hunt is on for wild hogs with Jamey O’Bannon of J & R Outfitters, while Capt. Jesse Kennon will take the group on an airboat search for pythons in the Everglades.
Invasive species have been a Florida issue ever since the first Europeans journeyed to the new world in the early 1500′s. Hogs were introduced then and easily adapted to Florida’s tropical environment. Nobody is more aware of the problems they can cause then Florida outdoor writer, Terry Gibson, who has become a “watch dog” for Florida issues that impact the environment.
